• If I Think I Can... iCan!

  Thank you for all that you have done for my students! As soon as the iPad arrived last week my students were elated and wanted to start using it. I let the students decide, through research, what they were going to download and how it was going to help them in our class. I feel that because they were the ones that brought the idea of this project to me and now they are planning everything around it, they are taking more ownership than they normally would.

  Without my help they found apps that help them with addition and subtraction, sight words, handwriting, and science experiments. Not to mention they are beginning to be more tech savvy than me!

• Bullies Can't Bug Me!

  I was so excited the other day to tell my students that our packages arrived earlier than expected! After reading the bullying books, my students are using the bins and manipulatives to practice the skills that they have learned. Students are already working together more politely and cutting down on the harsh words and actions.

  I love knowing that they are building skills that will last a lifetime and with these skills they are creating a better future for themselves and our world.

• Let's Block Those Bullies!

  May I just say WOW! I did not realize how excited the students would be about these books, bins, and organizers! When the boxes arrived I was quite overwhelmed and humbled by the things that you donated.

  My students immediately organized their books by sorting them into different topics. I then left it up to them to create a way that we could easily assess our books that have been donated through several projects. The students came up with a plan that I love and it's better than anything I could have come up with. Now as you see their books are on the windowsill and easily assessable, making it easy to find any book at any time.

• Bully Can't Bother Me!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to my students. Our tag readers (that we were blessed with last year) are a hit in our room. My students love them so much that many of them have read each book over 10 times. They were so excited when they found out that we would be receiving new tag reader books. They were even more excited when they arrived yesterday and they were able to experience new stories come to life!

  Their eyes lit up as they pulled book after book of characters that they love from the box. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts!”

• Bullies Are Bologna!

  You are so generous!!! I can not thank you enough for all that you have done for my students!! This listening kit is absolutely amazing to build literacy skills for my students! They absolutely love reading and this gives them the opportunity to read along with a cd. The students build their confidence while reading along with the narrator. Many of the books discuss topics of working together versus bullying one another and teaching them the meaning of everyone being an individual.

  I'm so excited to show you the pictures of all of my students' smiling faces thanks to you! It gives me such joy to see how books from an anonymous friend can lighten their day. These books match themed kits that we've been using since the beginning of the year, yet never had the opportunity to have the literature that paired! My students are very eager to read and be read to and you are making that easier! Through these books my students are learning how to deal with bullies and other topics.   My students are so excited about these themed books! We have had the manipulative kits for a while but we did not have the books that went with the activities! Thanks to you the books are now in their hands and they not only get to work with the objects hands on but hear about them also! My students are learning more and more about how to become well rounded individuals and how to work together. My students are learning how to prevent bullying and deal with it if it occurs all thanks to you! You're making a future a brighter place one child at a time.

  My students are so lucky to have people like you in their lives. It's my job to I've them the best and I couldn't do that without you! These bully books and centers (that help them practice working together) are already a highlight in their days! They were so excited when the boxes came and even more excited when they saw what they contained! As a teacher I am so proud to see the life lesson of philanthropy really soaking in. They've asked many times who you are and I've told them we will never know but that there are many people hoping that their futures are bright!

• Bullies Don't Bother Me!

  Look at those smiles! There is nothing better than the joy that you feel when a child's face lights up like that! Thank you for bringing these bully books and writing centers to my students! They absolutely adore the stories and are already making plans to keep bullies away at school and the rest of their lives. I've even had a few tell me that they've taught family members techniques on how not to be a bully and how to deal if someone is bullying them.

• Stop Big Bullies With Big Books!

  The big books arrived yesterday and my students are already in love with them! I can already see that they are interested in learning new techniques of reading. As you see the the photos, my students are enjoying pointing to each word as they sound it out and what fun it is to act as if you are the teacher! The possibilities are endless.
