  • What About An Apple For The Class?

    Funded Jul 6, 2012

I can not even come up with the words to thank you! You can not even imagine the thrill on my students faces when this box arrived!!! You have opened the world to my students. Just today we were able to Skype another class halfway across the country! We will be able to take virtual field trips and upload data to all of our other technologies in our room.

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts! Most of all you have taught my students that there are amazing people in this world that care about our future!!”

    With gratitude,

I would like to thank you on behave of my students for these amazing odds and ends supplies. The students love the treasure chest, alpha magnetic letters, word stretchers, pencil sharpener, and rack for our backpacks! I tried capturing their excitement in these photos and hope that you can share in the joy that you have brought to my students hearts.

  • Bullies Aren't Welcome Here!

    Funded Feb 17, 2012

I want to thank you again for the amazing tools that you bought my students! The slap bands protect our nanos that are used daily and the cover for our ipad will help it last through the daily wear and tear from a kindergarten classroom! Our closet is now organized with the bins that you donated and I'm so excited that all materials are now at their hands thanks to you.

I can never thank donors enough for the things that they have provided my students with! I hope that you keep us in mind and know that we are always thinking of you!!”

  • Take Us to the Magic Tree House!

    Funded Feb 1, 2012

Now that we have had our books for a few weeks I would like to update you. My students are absolutely loving their new listening center. With all of the wonderful books on cd that you so kindly donated, my students listening center had a complete facelift. I have never had the problem of students rushing to get to the listening center and now with the exciting titles that you have brought to us the students are lining up to get there.

Thanks again for bringing us supplies we would never be able to have without your help!

Don't forget to check back to see our smiling faces and for more updates!”

  • Take Us To The Magic Tree House! 2

    Funded Feb 1, 2012

Now that we have had the books for a few weeks, I must say that the students are showing growth in their comprehension. Many of the books requested were above their level and much more advanced than anything we currently have. The students love hearing me read the stories to them and are even taking them home to share with their families. Thank you so much for this opportunity that we would not have if it weren't for you and your generosity!!

Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts!

Don't forget to check back and see our smiling faces :)”

  • Bullies Don't Listen!

    Funded Jan 29, 2012

I can not thank you enough for expanding our listening workstation. This area has been in very high demand since the beginning of the year and since they are benefiting so much from it I decided it would be amazing if we could expand. With your donation this is exactly what happened! The students are now able to sit four to a table to listen to stories about bullying and other classics. My students were elated when they opened the boxes from you and are even more excited now that the workstation is up and running.

Thanks again for doing such an amazing thing for my students!”

  • Bullies Can't Stop Us!

    Funded Feb 6, 2012

I can not thank you enough for bringing these materials into my classroom. The students are now able to listen to stories and music at carpet time. We have been huddled around our computer without speakers since the beginning of the year and what a difference this speaker has made. My students are now able to sing educational songs and listen to calming music as we work. They love that our room is constantly filled with tunes or stories these days and wouldn't want it any other way!

Thank you for making it all possible!!!”

  • Bullies: Write About It!

    Funded Jan 24, 2012

WOW! This project has become the most amazing thing in our classroom! My students have organized all of these supplies and are enjoying every minute of their writing area. The students absolutely love the nonfiction readers and are sharing what they have learned about children from around the world with other classes. Through this project my students are already showing that they understand it is okay to be unique and different from others and there is no reason to feel ashamed.

Thank you for bringing these amazing materials to my students and helping them combat bullying!”

  • Battle Bullies With Big Books

    Funded Jan 20, 2012

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! These big books are a wonderful tool inside our classroom! The students were so excited to see some of their favorite books as well as books that they have never seen before. We use these big books during morning meeting and then I open them as a workstation throughout the day. The students are building their literacy skills as they pretend to teach the invisible class on the carpet. They absolutely love this new station, all thanks to you!!

Thanks again for this amazing new area of our room!!”
