  • Building a Leveled Library

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you so much for the level A, B, and C books for my leveled library. They have given my students more choices while reading.

Students have the chance to read a variety of books on their level. They have the chance to read beautiful colorful books. These books will hopefully give them the love of reading. I am hoping they will encourage them to went to keep reading.

I am also sharing these books with other teachers on my grade. They are reaching more than just my class.

Thank you again for making such a wonderful difference in my class.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stalzer

  • Morning Meeting Area Rug

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you so much for our classroom rug. It has made such a difference in my students experience in class. We are able to listen to stories on the rug. Students work in groups together on the rug. We also have most of our mini lessons on the rug.

The classroom rug gives me as a teacher a place for me to gather my students. I am able to see who is listening and who is struggling. I also didn't my students are less distracted while on the rug.

Having a rug has made a huge difference in my classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stalzer

  • iPads For All

    Funded Feb 1, 2019

Thank you so much for your donation of 6 ipads for my classroom. We felt truly blessed when we heard our request had been filled.

We have been using our I-pads daily in class. We have been reading in small groups using Epic. Students have been completing tasks on Khan Academy in math. In addition, we have been coding on Scratch on them. It has been wonder seeing my students working so hard on this amazing technology.

My students and I are grateful that we have access to this technology throughout the day. Before we had to share with the entire 3rd and 4th grade. We now can research, read, explore, and code any time we want.

It is amazing watching my students work together to code scratch programs. They are able to move around the room with the I-pads and help each other.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stalzer

With the request of the Apple iPads, the students will be able to grow both socially and academically. They will be able to learn new techniques to incorporate technology into lessons. Being from a lower socioeconomic background and of immigrant parents may inhibit students from being able to attain a computer at home. Getting this funding and obtaining the Apple iPads will open a new world of learning for these students. The use of the iPads will increase student's focus and in turn help them achieve. Students will increase productivity and make better choices both academically and socially. This in turn will create better test scores, better grades and better futures.
