Once our classroom has a variety of games, students can learn communication skills not practiced while connected to technology. By sharing how to play each game, setting up tournaments, and sharing the outcome of games, students can connect these strategies and lessons to their regular classroom sessions and process thinking. Learning to think, share responsibilities, and communicate face to face is a skill that may be lost on today's generation if it is not practiced. Using fun interactions to teach these skills will aid students' pursuit of life-long learners.
