  • Hands-on Help

    Funded Feb 14, 2024

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! These materials made a huge difference right away in our classroom.

Our students were super excited when the boxes arrived. Curious about what was inside. These materials enabled my students to manipulate letters to make new words. It also allowed them to engage in fun centers. The students loved using the magic wands to move the letters around and spell new words!

The laminating pouches allowed us as teachers to create lasting activities that the students could use again and again ensuring that they could continue using them for a long time to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sosnovich

  • Lovely Library

    Funded Nov 1, 2023

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! These materials changed our classroom instantly. Our library is now organized. We used the yellow and red bins immediately. These bins now make our classroom library easy to navigate for our young learners. Yellow for fiction and red for non fiction. This color-coded system helps them think about where a book goes and how to return it properly.

Our printer is set up and ready to help bring our students' writing to life! We are currently working on special show and tell pieces and covers with pictures of our special item will be front and center.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sosnovich

  • Marvelous Mathematics

    Funded Sep 5, 2023

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your generous donations have made our classroom a better place for all of our learners.

When the materials arrived we were super excited to open the boxes. Once everything was out of the boxes we didn't waste a minute. We began to use the teddy bear counters to practice patterns and count to 10. We now use the pattern blocks to make designs and see how shapes fit together. We also love to make "pie" when we use the sorter to count different fruits.

The teachers loved the organizational materials. The quickly turned our classroom into a home.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sosnovich

  • Small Group Sensation

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your generous donations made a world of difference in our classroom. The kids were so excited when the box was brought up to our room. They couldn't wait to see what was inside.

When we unpacked the boxes we saw the easels inside and the kids had many questions. When I began small group that day the kids were so happy to see the easel. It made it easier for them to see what I was writing and enable them to follow along in a meaningful way. The easel also helped when new vocabulary words were placed in the pocket chart.”

  • Phonics Fun!

    Funded Dec 23, 2022

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your generous donation helped enhance the phonics curriculum in my classroom ten-fold.

When the students saw the kinetic sand they jumped for joy. This helps them to feel the different letters and sound and brings them to life. The sentence strips also allowed me to prepare lessons that encourage the students to move and manipulate sounds. With all of these new materials phonics in my classroom is lively and fun. It gets my students thinking about. what is in front of them and it works!”

  • Classroom Restock

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your generous donations have enriched our classroom. Many of the students in my class cannot afford school supplies. These supplies make the students in my class feel important. They feel as though someone is looking out for them. With the new folders, notebooks, markers, crayons and more made them feel so important! They are now able to complete their math, writing, reading and more in their own personal space. If they are anything like I was as a child, they will have them for many years to come!”

  • Back to School Basics

    Funded Oct 6, 2022

Thank you so much for your very generous donations. My students jaws dropped when they saw what was delivered. The excitement in their eyes was a sight to be seen!

As I was unpacking the materials I heard kids saying, "I can't wait to use the construction paper for my next book". Their curiosity was really peeked when they saw the laminating machine. "What's this Ms. S?". When I explained that they can use this machine to laminate the pages in the book they were floored! Each one began talking about their small moment stories and were counting down the minutes until writing workshop began.

I can't wait to share the finished books in just a few short weeks!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sosnovich

  • Amazing Animals

    Funded Oct 22, 2021

I can't thank you enough for the incredible Animal books. These nonfiction books are what my students LOVE to read each and every day. These books specifically helped me to make the nonfiction unit I was teaching so much more robust.

When my students were able to get into and use the books they were enamored. Each child could be seen marveling at the photographs. This helped them to want to read more about what they are seeing in the photographs. When my students are engaged they learn more and these books certainly helped them learn a ton!”

  • Multi-Cultural Library

    Funded Jun 25, 2020

I can't thank you enough for the incredible books we received. These books allow the students in my classroom to see themselves in the books that they are reading. This is crucial for not only their self esteem but to keep them engaged in reading with high interest books.

When the new books were first introduced to my class the excitement was palpable. Now I find that my students are sprawled out across the classroom reading these books. I've also seen them go back to read some a 2nd time.

Thank you again for your generosity.”
