My students were so excited to receive their very own mini fridge. They were so happy to open the giant box and find out the surprise inside of it. They loved picking out a spot in our classroom for it and organizing all their snacks inside of it. This is greatly helping their independence. It is also allowing my students to focus for longer periods of time by being able to obtain a snack when they are hungry. THANK YOU THANK YOU for your big hearts, thinking of our little ones and helping our classroom in the biggest of ways!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Sofia

We are so extremely excited to have received our new puppets. We will be learning all the stories and how to perform each puppet show. When the spring time comes, we will be all ready to host our puppet and picnic events in the park.
We have high hopes that this will create a feeling of empathy and compassion for others in our students. Our hopes are that they continue helping those in need throughout their lives.
We cannot thank you enough for thinking of our class. Thank you so much for helping us connect with our community in the most positive of ways!”

Thank you so very much for helping us get our beach rug. We are so excited to have this be the heart of our classroom. Beaches allow us to be grounded in a state of relaxation and a calm mind is what our students should feel in their educational settings.
With this new beach environment, we will be able to do our best learning because we will be in our best states of selves. The rug will give our meeting area a feeling of togetherness and warmth.
Thank you for helping us have a healthy mind and calm self!”

What an AMAZING surprise present that arrived for us. This has transformed our entire Dramatic Play Center. This now allows children to experience real life skills and social skills. It supports students in the rules of engagement with their peers including learning turn-taking, sharing and waiting. They will have SO MUCH FUN pretending to be a barber, gardener, explorer, princess, baker and more. The language that will develop through this type of play is crucial to their learning process.
We thank you SO much for thinking of our classroom and helping us build the most imaginative and engaging Dramatic Play Center.”
We can't thank you enough for helping us express our uniqueness in the most fun and creative of ways. We cannot wait to plan and build our ideas into something we can use forever. We are so excited to use different technology to create water bottles that are personalized to each of our own cultures.
We are so excited to take community walks with our water bottles to show off who we are and to connect with our community.
We are so grateful that you have thought of our classroom. You have made such a difference in our learning in the biggest of ways.”

My students are goofy, silly, funny, emotional, frustrated, energetic, impulsive and craving someone to care about them. My classroom consists of 10 students with special needs and 15 students of mixed English Language Learners and General Education students.
This makes it difficult to meet the various needs of the students in my classroom. I do my very best to make each child feel special and that they CAN do it. My school has a very large population of low poverty, as well as children in shelters. It would be great to give these students a chance and an opportunity to meet their optimal potentials.
Donations to my project will be empowering students through art as well as helping to foster a student-driven classroom.
It will give students confidence by allowing them to feel ownership over their learning and their environment. My students come from broken homes and are craving someone to truly care about them.
