My students are the most caring, empathetic group of kiddos. Several students are English language learners and most are not on grade level for reading. They are bright and just need more resources and time to catch up. Some have parents that served in the military and one is from a migrant family. They are grateful for everything provided to them. Just this Friday one boy came up to me and said, “Mrs. Smith, thank you for having legos in the classroom.” They clean up and take good care of our classroom items. Anything you can help out with will be adored and cared for and directly support giving these kids the skills they deserve to have. Thank you.
