The Amazon fire tablets that I have requested would go a long way in creating experiences that many of my students have never experienced. Field trips have unfortunately gone away in schools with underserved populations like the one I currently teach. Many of my students are unable to afford to go on Science related field trips. These tablets would help with bridging the expose gap that exists between wealthier schools and my own. I hope to create a spark. One that will create a fire for learning in students who haven't had the opportunity to see the world.
