Funded Feb 4, 2013Thank you so much for donating an iPad to our Pre-K class! We have made the iPad a center time choice and everyday the children are able to learn from it. The children love it so much that this has easily become the most popular center activity. They are having fun while learning important academic concepts such as sorting, comparing, addition, subtraction, problem solving, and much more! We are so grateful to have the newest technology in our classroom and another style of learning available for the children, all thanks to you! My Class is Crazy for Collages!
Funded Dec 7, 2012Thank you for donating collage and art materials to our Pre-K classroom! The children in my class really enjoy art and now they have a variety of materials to make collages, all thanks to you! We now have a brand new art center that is organized and easy for the children to use independently during choice time. I can also teach them the medium of collage with our new materials and they absolutely love it! Let's Learn Through Sand And Water!

Now the children want to learn through our sand and water table all of the time! Having these materials allows the children to learn important science and math skills while using sand and water in a fun way. They absolutely love all of our new sand and water table toys! Healthy, Happy, and Fit In Pre-K!
Funded Sep 20, 2012Thank you so much for supporting gross motor play in and outside of our classroom! The class absolutely loves both the indoor and outdoor materials we have received. The children love playing sports with our new variety of balls, using our cones in games, and learning how to jump rope. During inclement weather they love using our hopcotch carpet, throwing bean bags, and bowling. We are now able to learn and have fun while getting great exercise! The children love to cook and were so excited to see our new oven and cooking materials. We cook on a weekly basis now and we are able to incorporate science, math, social studies, and literacy into our cooking lessons. Most importantly, the children are learning how to cook and eat healthy, yummy food and gain good eating habits they can continue throughout their lives. The children are so happy to have the cooking materials you have donated to our class. Now all of the children are motivated to eat healthy everyday! We are very grateful for your generosity.
