• Magnetic Materials Make Magnificent Minds!

  The magnetic learning supplies and materials you have donated to our class has helped both the students and I immensely! Unfortunately due to severe budget cuts during the covid 19 pandemic, all teacher choice funds were cut and supplies from the school were not given out this year for remote teaching. I have found myself needing supplies that are easy to use and easy for my students to see through their computer cameras while learning online. Your donation has given me what I need to teach lessons with fun magnetic materials that are visually engaging and easy to use during remote teaching. The materials have allowed me to have live learning meets with my students that are fun, engaging, and educational. I use these materials daily with my new remote learning class since we are once again fully remote in NYC. Thank you for your help and generosity, We all really appreciate it!”

  The technology and supplies you have donated to our remote learning class have helped both the students and I immensely! The materials arrived at a time when I had insufficient technology and supplies to teach with from my home during the sudden closure of school due to the covid 19 pandemic. We were thrown into a brand new way of teaching, one that we didn't receive technology for and your donation to this project helped me tremendously with these issues! There was simply no way I could teach efficiently without technology to engage in remote teaching. Your donation has helped me reach my students and teach my students and we are all very grateful for your donation. I am still using this technology and the supplies with my new remote learning class since we are once again fully remote in NYC. Thank you for your help and generosity, we really appreciate it!”

  The social emotional materials and books you have donated to our remote learning class have helped both the students and I immensely! The materials arrived at a time when I had no books or materials to teach with from my home during the sudden closure of school due to the covid 19 pandemic. We were thrown into a brand new way of teaching, one that we didn't receive teaching materials for and your donation to this project helped me tremendously with these issues! The children really needed to hear stories and engage in activities to explore their feelings about the pandemic. They needed guidance through materials, stories, and discussions to understand our new way of life during the pandemic and these materials helped us do this. I am still using these materials with my new remote learning class since we are once again fully remote in NYC. Thank you for your help and generosity, we really appreciate it!”

• Help Us Learn Science Through Planting and Cooking!

  We are so very grateful for your donations to our classroom! We used all the cooking supplies to cook delicious, healthy food in our class as enrichment activities. The children loved to cook and learned important social and academic skills while working together to cook yummy food! They really did enjoy cooking and especially eating all the wonderful food we made together and we thank you for supplying us with what we needed to learn about cooking in our classroom! • Help us get Learning Materials Destroyed by a Classroom Flood!

  We are so grateful for your help in getting our destroyed materials replaced! When the flood occurred it destroyed many of our learning materials and the children were heartbroken. Thanks to you, we have received new, fun learning materials! The children have been enjoying and learning through the educational games and other materials we received. You really helped the students in my class. Thank you so much for your incredible generosity, for caring about us, and helping to bring big smiles to my students!”

• Please Help Us Get Sight Word Books for Super Readers!

  The kids were so excited to receive new books they could read themselves! They immediately asked me to open the boxes and grabbed books to read at our rug. They were excited that there were fiction and nonfiction books at their level for them to read independently. They felt so proud that they could attempt to read the words and not just look at pictures anymore. They were telling eachother, "Look, I can read this by myself!" We look forward to learning many new sight words and good reading habits through these books to become stronger readers. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your amazing generosity and helping us become proficient readers!”

• Sleepy Pre-K Kids Need A Place To Rest!

  Funded Dec 4, 2019

  Thank you so much for donating towards our class getting new nap mats! The students were so excited when we received them! The mats we received were way better then our old, broken ones! The kids are able to get their much needed nap again due to mats having more cushioning and the fact that mats are a better size for them. The students can store them neatly in their cubbies and the children are able to access them and put them away by themselves. We are so grateful for your incredible generosity!”

• Please Help My Students Learn That Diversity is Divine

  We are so grateful for your generous donations of diverse learning materials for our class! The children have been using the toys, crayons, paper, our globe, and books non stop since we have received them. We have a very diverse class and they are able to see themselves throughout our classroom and feel valued everyday. We have made All About Me books and the children were able to share all about what makes them special. They discussed our differences and similarities and have learned to appreciate their uniqueness. It is quite a gift you have given us to help children understand who they are, value who they are, and learn about themselves and others. Thank you for helping our class learn that diversity is divine!”
