• Little Language Learners Need Learning Materials!

  I am truly amazed at the generosity you have shown to our class! My students are in their very first year of school and have so much to learn. In order to learn, we needed learning materials and you helped to provide that. We are so incredibly grateful to get the things we needed so my students can learn English, learn how to socialize and learn beginning academics. They learn through socialization, listening to stories, and meaningful play each day with our new learning materials. Thank you so much for helping the students of my class adjust to a new environment and a new language while having have fun and learning!”

• Help My Students Learn Through Play Everyday!

  Play is essential part of early childhood education. Children learn social skills and academic skills through play everyday. In order to learn through play, teachers need to have very specific learning toys, supplies, and materials that are intentionally chosen so children can learn various social and academic skills. Thanks to your generous donations, we are able to have appropriate play materials in my class for my students to enjoy and learn with! We are all so grateful for your generosity. • Pre-K Picassos Need Your Help!

  Art is such an important part of an early childhood education. I incorporate art into everything we learn. In order to do this, we need art materials and you helped to provide that! Thanks to you, my students are drawing, painting, and creating every single day. They go to our art center daily to create self directed art and they engage in art activities within our learning themes as well. The children in my class LOVE art and they have become really great artists! Thank you so much for donating all the supplies my students need to create art!”

• Back to the Basics with Your Help!

  The "basics" in a classroom are so important. We use these items to make learning materials for the children to use in the classroom. We also print up family notices and pictures to use in class. It may not be fancy but it is essential to have basic supplies such as ink, paper, index cards, etc. I am so grateful you have helped me get the items I need to help children in their daily activities, help them learn, and help me communicate with families. • Pre-K Stem Scientists Need Your Help!

  Thank you so much for donating STEM learning materials to our class! The children have learned about weather, seasons, animals, homes, light, water, and now plants with these materials! They have everything they need to learn these concepts through play and through using hands on materials. STEM is so important in early education and it really does require materials that are fun and interesting to truly understand these concepts and you made that possible! • Let's Connect Learning in School to Learning at Home!

  This was a tough year! Due to covid there were many instances of quarantine and classroom closures. I wanted to ensure my students had hands-on materials at home that they could use to learn with if they were in this predicament and you helped me get those learning materials to them. They were so excited to receive their writing materials, fun workbooks, and art materials to use at home. Each child took home their bag with a huge smile on their face. The best part is they can use these materials over the summer as well to stop a summer slide from occurring. My students and I thank you so much for your generous donations. • Help Our Dramatic Play Center Be Amazing Everyday!

  You have no idea how happy and excited my students were to receive new dramatic play materials! Your donations have brought them so much joy! They used the dramatic play materials to learn important academic and social concepts during center time such as taking turns, cooperation, conflict resolution, being a good friend, sharing, counting, identifying numbers, identifying money, learning beginning concepts of division, fractions, adding and subtracting. They had so much fun while they learned! They played and learned with these items every day. My students and I are so grateful and thankful that you helped us get the new learning materials we need. • Help Our Class Get a Printer Please!

  I am amazed by how helpful the donorschoose.org community can be in making such a big difference in our classroom. Your donations have really helped us out of a predicament when our printer starting having technical difficulties and was no longer working. We are so grateful to have a new printer in our class which we use to print classroom materials, work, and parent notices. It is essential for communication, as well as creating learning materials that are specific to our class needs. Thank you so much for helping us get a new printer in our Pre-K class! • Help Us Create a Comfy, Cozy Classroom!

  Thank you so much for helping us getting cozy, comfy cushions for our meetings times! The children were so excited to receive them and love them! They now sit very comfortably while on the floor for various activities throughout the school day. They even take them when they visit our specialty classes holding the handles the cushions have. They are very light, portable, durable, and have been very helpful! We are also learning to say and understand colors in Spanish when we use them. So much comfort and learning is taking place and it's all thanks to your generosity! We are so grateful for your support and help!”

• Hip, Hip, Hooray for Team Sports and Play!

  Thank you so much for donating sports, outdoor games, and equipment for my class to use on the playground. The children have been having a great time outdoors playing soccer, engaging in relay races, playing frisbee, jumping rope, and playing various sports. The children were so excited to receive these items and have been enjoying them daily while getting exercise and fresh air outside.
