  • Put Your Hands On The Amazing Animal and Plant Cells!

    Funded Jan 28, 2014

My students and I are greatly appreciative of your generous donations towards our Animal Cell Model and Cell Poster/Slides. It is imperative that my students are exposed to models to get a full frontal view of microscopic living organisms. The Animal Model is an excellent tool to enable science students to observe the components, or organelles, of the smallest until of life. Having additional supplemental objects other than textbooks and videos will increase students' comprehension about the importance of life science.

Thank you again for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. S.

  • Bring on the Aquarium Into Our Environment!

    Funded Jan 9, 2014

My students and I are greatly appreciative of your generous donations towards the Aquarium!!! Having living organisms in a science classroom will enable students to become intrigued with the fascinating observable characteristics of freshwater fish. Students will be able to understand the distinct environment fish must live in along with the importance of maintaining a specific water temperatures and pH. Students will also comprehend the protocol and procedure in maintaining a freshwater environment.

Thank you again for your generosity!!!!!”

  • Let's Look Through a Microscope!

    Funded Oct 1, 2013

Your donations to purchase the Digital Microscope is greatly appreciated!!!! I am so excited to utilize the digital microscope so students are able to observe, as a whole, various living and non-living microscopic organisms projected through the screen. Students will be able to view the various parts of animal and plant cells, as well as bacteria cells. The visuals provided by the microscope will enable the students to further comprehend the importance of science and it's principles. Again, thank you so much for touching the lives of students!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. S.

  • Exploring the Human Skeletal System

    Funded Sep 7, 2013

My students and I greatly appreciate your donations! We are sincerely grateful of your assistance in helping us obtain the Desk Skeleton and the Periodic Table of Elements. The Desk Skeleton Model and the Periodic Table will allow the students to have close visuals and it will promote the appreciation of Science. Students will have more of an interest and understanding of the subject of science as well. We are motivated to post more projects!!!!! Thank you for touching the lives of students every year!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. S.

  • Exploring the Human Body

    Funded Feb 12, 2013

I very much appreciate all your donations towards the Human Body Model! Every year I will be able to display the model for 160 7th grade students for the human body unit.

Students will be able to see the model visually, and observe all the organs of the human body. Students will also be able to touch the model and feel each organ separately. The students are extremely intrigued by the model.

My educational lessons are more interesting students when they are exposed to a display. Students become more involved and active in the classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. S.

  • Let's Look at Living Organisms!

    Funded Nov 4, 2010

Your donations are greatly appreciated! You have made an extraorindary difference is the lives of 155 students this year, and for years to come. By obtaining the fish tank with its live organisms, my students will have a firsthand experience of observing real animals within the science classroom. It is essential that I am able to obtain various ecosystems that I would be able to take care of within the classroom environment so my students are able to feel what a real and exciting classroom this is. It would be most intriguing for my students.

Not all students have the opportunity to travel, experience, and learn. Notwithstanding, I would like to bring science to my classroom so that my students are most intrigued! How can I conduct this method? Beginning with the donation of a fish tank, I am able to bring in living organisms within my classroom so my students have a firsthand view of live animals!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. S.
