• Meaningful Math Manipulatives

  I greatly appreciate the thoughtful support for my classroom in helping fund the project for math manipulatives. This project helped make math more meaningful to my students with hands on materials to help build their number sense. Working together, my students are able to collaborate and speak out their understanding by explaining their actions as they move their manipulatives around the desks.

  My students were excited to see the different options they can choose from to build their strategies to solve math equations. They look forward to getting out our packets and using the materials to help with math problems. Thank you so much for helping bring math to life in a more engaging way.”

• Hands-On Learning to Grow Young Minds!

  Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my classroom project to provide hands on learning for my students. The number blocks are a wonderful learning tool for my young friends to better grasp mathematical concepts and the fun science projects bring excitement into the classroom. My first graders light up when we are able to use these resources to help grow their knowledge. They better understand adding and subtraction when they use the linking cubes during our afternoon MTSS groups and thoroughly enjoy watching the math coordinating math videos. • 1st Grade Extravaganza - A Week to Remember!

  What a spectacular ending to our year! Thank you so much to all who donated to help make this magical week happen. My first grade friends had so much fun coming in each day to a new theme to enjoy. The classroom transformations were magical and exciting. Each and every student loved the decorations and goodies provided and although we continued to learn, they eagerly entered the classroom each day with wonder and excitement. There were always questions of what would be next. I am thrilled that I was able to create such a fun space for my class to celebrate their 1st grade year. Thank you!”

• Fun With Phonics

  I greatly appreciate your support in funding this project to help me supply my students with phonics materials. My students thoroughly enjoy having manipulatives at their fingertips to help them learn to read.

  My students and I use these materials during a block of time set aside to help regain skills lost during the pandemic. We say the word, count out the sounds heard in the word, then find the letters that make each letter sound. My students become excited when they see their accomplishments in building a word correctly!

  We will continue using our letter tiles and stamp pads to create words, practicing our phonics skills while having fun!”

• Engineering Masterful Minds

  My students love having these resources in our classroom! My first graders enjoy the challenge of creating structures and solving real world problems with the items in each box. Allowing my students the time to build and create by using their hands to build concrete meaning is so important for young minds.

  The bins are organized in a way that my students can easily clean up which allows us to maintain a classroom environment that is clean and calm. My students enjoy the bins for their creative opportunities, I enjoy the bins for the organized supply storage!”

• Creating Student Authored Masterpieces

  Thank you so much for helping my 1st grade friends create meaningful writings with the ability for us to now turn assignments into books. Seeing their hard work turned into masterpieces has allowed them to take pride in their work.

  I have students who dreaded writing. Now, several are excited to see their work published and turned into books they can enjoy throughout the school year. There is a sense of wonder as pieces of paper and bound into a book for our classroom library.

• Building Toys to Build Young Minds

  Funded Aug 27, 2021

  Thank you so much for helping supply my classroom with much needed hands-on activities for us to use during indoor recess time and as an afternoon fun time. We use these building activities during times of inclement weather when it is not advisable to be outside. It is great to have the option to build and create instead of sit and watch a movie. We have also been able to use they materials as a reward for hard work through the week.

  My student look forward to when it's raining out and we have the opportunity to pull out the building sets. They eagerly wait to choose which toys they get to play with and are always well behaved and completely engaged. They take much pride in the creations they build and enjoy sharing with their classmates and me.

  We will continue to use these amazing toys as often as weather and time allows. Thank you again!”

• Comfy Cozy Floor Rugs

  Funded Aug 6, 2021

  Our classroom completely transformed with the addition of our new rugs! We started the year without them so my students were able to see the transformation and enjoy the added comfort the rugs brought to our room. Not only did the two rugs create distinct areas for us to gather in small groups, it also allowed us to sit comfortably on the floor together. Our flexible seating options worked much better on top of rugs that created a barrier between the loud, cold, hard floor. Our classroom is now a cozy environment, welcoming my students each day. We will continue to enjoy these rugs as we gather daily in small groups where we enjoy parallel teaching and station teaching. Thank you so much for your generous contribution!”
