Lions and Witches and Wardrobes…Oh My!
Funded Oct 11, 2023It's hard knowing that your students need a resource or material, but you aren't able to provide it to them, due to not having access to it. As teachers, we always work for the best interest of our students. If we feel our students need something or would benefit from something, we try our hardest to get it for them. In this case, you are the ones that made this possible. You helped us get the resource our students needed.
Every student now has access to a paper copy version of the text we will be reading over the next 11 weeks. Thank you for believing that every student should have access to a book.”

Funded Dec 29, 2019Thank you so much for donating to my classroom project. Because of your generous donation, all of my students are now able to have their very own copy of The Lightning Thief to follow along as we are reading the book in class. We used to have to share copies of the books with each class, so no one was every able to take the book home to read. Now, all 99 students in 4th grade have a copy of the book, and they can bring it home to read it at night if they want to. Thank you for putting a smile on my students' faces and making them enjoying reading.”

Modeling and Learning
Funded Oct 17, 2018When the materials arrived at school, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. I couldn't wait to get everything unpacked and set up so the students could see all of the new materials the next day.
When the students walked into class the next day, the first thing they noticed was the computers. "Are those new computers??" Of course they all had to go rushing over there to touch them and open them up. The students then noticed the new table top white boards and accountable y'all sticks. They then started pretending to use them. I then showed the students all of the new materials we received from the generous donors. They students were ecstatic.
Thanks you for your generous donations. My students are using all of these materials daily. I am pretty sure they are most excited about the computers, headphones, and white boards.”

Funded Apr 6, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donation to my students. Every year, at the end of the year, my students have difficulty finding supplies to use when in the classroom. Normally by the end of the year, my students have used up all of the supplies they brought in and the ones that I purchased for them as well. At this time of year, my students are normally borrowing supplies from other classroom so that they can get their work now. Now, thank to your generosity, my students have tons of supplies to get them through the end of the year. They will definitely not have to borrow any supplies from other classrooms. Thank you for helping my students!”

Anchor Charts
Funded Jan 25, 2018Anchor charts are used daily in our classroom. Teachers and students make anchor charts together as a class and students come up with their own anchor charts on their own. Students make anchor charts to hang on the walls of the classroom and students make anchor charts to keep in their binders. Because of your generosity, my students now have chart paper to use to make their anchor charts and markers to use to create their anchor charts.
Thank you again for donating to my classroom. My students were thrilled to receive their new materials.”

Funded Sep 18, 2017Thank you so much for supporting my ESL students
Thank you so much for supporting my students. I wish you could have seen the reaction on their faces when they saw what was inside the boxes. They were screaming with excitement.
The iPads and headphones have been great because the students have been able to use them during homeroom to work on their language programs. The headphones have helped the students with their speaking and it is preparing them for their end of the year online test when they will be scores on their speaking ability. The dry erase easel and erasers have been a huge help. They are used everyday when the the teachers are demonstrating problems or the students are showing their work. The ESL activity games have been a huge hit with our beginners. They are helping the students develop their language skills.
Thank you again for supporting all of the ESL students.”

Language Resources for ESL Students
Funded Oct 21, 2016Thank you so much for your generous donations to my ESL students. The smile on their faces was priceless when we opened the boxes and they saw the ipads, cases, headphones, phonics books, etc. The students use the iPads (with the cases on them) and the headphones every single day to do their online language program, translate for them, and help them build their vocabulary. At the beginning of the year, most of the beginners were unable to speak in English. Now with the help of the iPads and phonics books, the students are able to communicate more and more using English. It brings such joy to my life to see my students happy and engaged! Thank you again for your donation!”

iPads, iPods, iHeadphones
Funded Oct 6, 2015Your donation to my students has made a huge impact. My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Since the headphones, iPods, and iPads are portable, I am able to move them around from grade level to grade level so that all of my ESL students are able to use them. Your donation is not impacting students in one grade level. It's not impacting students in two grade levels. Thanks to your donation Chevron, your donation is impacting the students in five grade levels!
The headphones and iPads make it possible for my students to do their online language programs in the classroom. The iPods are a tremendous help to my non English speaking students. They are using the iPods to translate their passages into English and look up words they do not know how to say or understand. My students are also able to use the iPods to practice their English, reading, and math. Now that my students have access to the iPads and iPods, they are much more interested in learning and they are eager to do their best work.”

Case And Point
Funded Dec 21, 2014Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom project and thank you for supporting my students.
A few months ago my students received iPads to use in the classrooms and they were thrilled and still are. The only problem was that the iPads did not have cases on them to protect them from sticky fingers and being dropped. This limited how much the students were able to use the iPads. Now that my classroom project has been funded by students are able to use the iPads daily because they are protected with cases.
The students LOVE the cases! The cases have a kick stand on them and the students think that it is the coolest thing ever. They are always telling me that they wish they could have more iPads so they could have more cases with the kick stand.
Thank you again for supporting my students!”

Funded Oct 13, 2014Thank you so much for believing in teachers and believing in a better education for the students of today. Because of your organization, and their generosity, students all of the world are able to have the materials that they truly need and deserve in their classrooms. I will forever be grateful!
My students were so excited when the box of books arrived. They knew exactly what t meant. It meant no more books that were printed off the computer and folded together to make a book. It meant that they would actually have a book (that they didn't have to help put together) with color pictures, that they could hold and read from. The books are helping the students learn so much about the ecosystem in this unit right now. This project really encouraged my students to want to read. Thank you again for funding my project and getting my students the books they needed.”
