This classroom project was brought to life by Townsend Press and one other donor.

Creating a classroom environment that is comfortable and vibrant is key to having success in learning. Students need to be given choice in how they can learn. They are in school so long that sometimes being at a desk all day can be frustrating and overwhelming. With the stools, bean bags, and floor seat, students will have the chance to learn in a more unique setting. When students feel safe and comfortable they will be more independent thinkers and active learners. Flexible seating allows independent work, small group work, and center time to seem more engaging and fun. When we have fun in a classroom, students will learn without even realizing it!
