Having our new flexible seating in our classroom has allowed my students to have a more "homey" feeling in their learning space. They have demonstrated to have a in improved amount of focus in the lessons while my teaching is going on, since they are able to calm down their everyday"jitters." Some of the students' grades have also improved due to this escalated amount of focus and this has brought up their self esteem and security greatly.

When our materials got delivered to our classroom the students were in complete excitement! I had explained to them what DonorsChoose was about and they were thrilled with the idea of getting new seating options for them to use during class. As a teacher it is very touching to hear students tell you "Teacher, I feel like I'm learning better! I get the lesson!" It is a true moment of impact to see how something so simple, like changing their seating, can make a big difference in their learning.

Being from a low-income society, my students are very grateful with receiving any type of help. This has been a very positive change in their learning and they benefit from every minute they have in the classroom. They are even more excited now to come to school and be able to use their balance balls, wobble chairs, and lap desks. You all have made a great impact in these students helping them have a more positive impact in their learning experiences and feel even more at home while in school.
