Books Books Books!
Funded Mar 9, 2016Thank you so much for the Leveled H-K Read-Alongs for our listening station. By the end of the year, I want my students to be fluent readers. In order to achieve this, listening to someone read fluently will help them.
I have already set these read-alongs in my listening station. Each day, a group will listen to the story as the follow along. This helps them understand what their reading should sound like.
They were so excited to know that someone donated to them! You are much appreciated by myself and my classroom.”

Kinder STEM!
Funded Dec 16, 2015When we received a big green box to our classroom, excitement ran through the students! They loved that we received a donation to help their learning in the class. We opened it up, and I pulled out each object at a time. Since we are doing a huge weather unit, I explained every item and they loved it! Everyday asking when are we going to use this or that. You have definitely made a difference in these students lives and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Without people like you, they would not know the word donation. Now students are donating money or canned food in our class as well. They want to make a difference too!”

Printer Ink for Kinders!
Funded Nov 20, 2015Thank you so much for your donations of the color and black ink cartridges. I am now able to print out color copies for my classroom. The word wall is now full of colorful words and pictures. There are centers that are now in color and for good use for the kindergarten kids to see. For my masters program I printed out colorful weather pictures and sheets for the kids to enjoy. The students love the idea of someone donating to them, they are so happy to hear about what they received for them and our classroom. Now instead of plain old black and white, their centers and sheets come alive with color. Thank you”

Funded Apr 10, 2015When I told my students about the new headphones, folders, and writing claws, they were so excited! Thank you so much for these generous donations, because of you my students had big smiles on their faces. The headphones are now being used in our listening center and on the computers. The partition folders are being used during testing time. We call them "offices", and they think they are so cool. The writing claws are helping the students that need help holding their pencils the correct way. It's funny because only a few needed the claws, but all the students think they are so fun and want one too. Thank you thank you!”

Math Games for Kinder!
Funded Dec 2, 2014THANK YOU THANK YOU! When we received this big box, my students were so excited to see what was inside. My class absolutely loves math, and when there is a game involved they love it even more! In Kindergarten, there are many math standards so they are prepared to go onto to 1st grade. Having these games will help them master these standards. Something else that is really neat is that my class has learned a new word "donate". I get to explain to them how there are wonderful people like you guys, that take the time and money to donate to our class. They are so sweet and tell me how those people must be nice! Thank you again!”
