Photography Students in Need of Flexible Seating

Thank you so much for you donations, my students absolutely love having a choice in seating! As you can see from the photographs, the new flexible seating spaces encourage collaboration and, though unseen in the photographs, creativity! I have received many compliments from students on the new seating, and that they wish they had spaces like this in every classroom. The new seating has been such an amazing addition to my classroom space. I can't thank you enough for donations and helping the dream of flexible seating become a reality in my classroom!”

Research shows that flexible seating in the classroom boosts creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. In a class, such as photography, where the entire curriculum swirls with those four C words, flexible seating just fits! Students should be allowed, and encouraged, to learn in a space that inspires them to create their best work. By donating to this project, you are providing an opportunity for students fully tap into their greatest creative potential. With flexible seating options, rather than students feeling crammed into desks and chairs while facing challenges to exercise creativity, students will be able to learn and create where they choose within the classroom.
