• Teachers Pay Teachers... & Serve Students

  I wanted to take a moment to thank you again for your generous donation to my class for Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards. I've already been putting them to great use!

  One example is a wonderful St. Patrick's Day activity where students listed the things they are lucky to have and explained why. The lesson came with a PowerPoint presentation, providing clear visuals, and worksheets in both English and Spanish, which was especially helpful for my multilingual learners.

  The best part is that I only need to review and modify the materials where necessary, saving me time and allowing me to focus my energy on working directly with the students. • Boys Need Love Too!

  I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions to our fifth-grade boys' project. With your support, we were able to provide essential items like deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, basketballs, and soccer balls, all of which made a lasting impact on the boys.

  As part of our program, male volunteers engaged with the boys in meaningful conversations over drinks and donuts, addressing respect, responsibility, and the challenges they face. They received martial arts lessons as well. The boys were incredibly excited and grateful for their care bags. I wish I could share their smiles with you—unfortunately, I wasn't able to obtain photo release forms, but I have sent photos with their faces covered.

  The care bags have greatly benefited the boys' mental, hygiene, and physical health, and we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for making this possible!”

• Period Products, Hygiene, & Self Esteem!

  We recently dedicated a day to engaging in meaningful conversations with our fifth-grade girls, focusing on the various challenges they face. This initiative provided them with a safe space to openly share their concerns and explore important aspects of their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

  As a culmination of this experience, we gifted each student a self-care bag filled with essential items thoughtfully curated for preteen girls. Thanks to your generous contributions, I was able to provide items such as sanitary pads, deodorant, journals, nail polish, nail stickers, lip balm, and sanitary wipes. These thoughtful materials have played a key role in supporting the girls' self-reflection, hygiene, and overall self-esteem. Not only were they grateful for these materials, but they put them to use immediately.

• Holiday Break Care - Warmth, Food, and Fun

  I cannot thank you enough for your incredible support in providing winter break care packages for my students. When all the packages arrived, my room looked like Christmas! Each student received a hat, gloves, a learning game, a toy of their choice, and food to enjoy during the break. These items ensured they had warmth, mental stimulation away from technology, and some comfort over the winter holidays.

  The excitement on their faces when they walked into the room and saw all the gifts was priceless. It truly warmed my heart to see how much your kindness impacted them. • A Taste of Home for My Multilingual, Multicultural Learners

  I am deeply grateful for your thoughtful donations that allowed us to provide a diverse selection of snacks for our students. Your generosity has had a profound impact on them, especially when they saw snacks from their specific countries. One student was nearly brought to tears when she saw her favorite chips, Sabritas Crujientes, which truly touched my heart. The students loved tasting snacks from their friends' countries and also enjoyed the traditional American snacks.

  As we enter testing season, having these snacks available is invaluable. It ensures the students are not distracted by hunger, allowing them to stay focused and perform their best. Thanks to your contributions, we likely have enough snacks to last us through the rest of the school year.

  Thank you for your generous contributions towards our student backpack initiative! Thanks to your support, we were able to purchase over 170 backpacks, significantly enhancing access and readiness for our students. These backpacks not only alleviate the financial burden on parents but also ensure that every child has the essential supplies they need to succeed.

  During our back-to-school fair, we filled these backpacks with supplies and distributed them to those in need, making a tangible difference in our community. In the spirit of hosting and giving, we regret that we didn't capture more photos of this wonderful event, but we did manage to take a few. • Blank Books for Creative Writing & Colored Ink for Engagement!

  I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donations that have transformed our classroom into a vibrant and engaging space. With your support, I purchased ink and card stock, as well as blank books for journaling and storytelling activities.

  The colorful ink has made our daily activities much more fun and visually appealing. I've been able to print colorful pictures, create posters, and design various visual aids, charts, and assignments that truly engage my students. For instance, the resources for our help wall, alphabet chart, and vocabulary cards have all come to life with color.

  While the journals turned out to be smaller than I expected, they have been perfect for setting goals and tracking our progress over time. Thank you for making such a positive impact on our classroom!”
