  • Model Magic Creations

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my art classroom. My students LOVE using clay and making three dimensional creations. With your help, we are able to do more three dimensional clay creations this school year.

Students in grades three, four, and five always get so excited to see the Model Magic Clay. This year, we have made food, characters, and animals with the clay. Students were even able to make a gift for other students with the clay this December.

Thank you for your generous donation. We appreciate your kindness! You have helped bring joy and creativity to the art room.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. (RT) Leussi

  • Multicultural Pencils and Markers for Realistic Self-Portraits

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. Students are so excited to use the multicultural markers and color pencils.

We have been reading the book The Colors of Us by Karen Katz and talking about how different colors can help create a unique self-portrait. Students now have more than twenty unique skin tones to choose from with the markers and color pencils. This really helps students elevate their self-portraits to make their artwork more uniquely them.

Thank you again for your generous donation”

    With gratitude,

  • Add COLOR to Our Art Kits

    Funded Sep 4, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donation for my students. With your donation, I was able to give all fourth and fifth grade students at my school a set of colored pencils

We have been remote since March, and many of my students did not have art supplies at home. This Donors Choose project helped me provide every fourth and fifth grader with a set of colored pencils to add extra color and detail to their artwork!

This helps them participate in creative projects and feel more prepared for art class. Without these donations, many students would not be able to participate in our weekly virtual art classes.

You have helped me provide colored pencil sets for hundreds of students in Brockton, MA. I cannot thank you enough!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. (RT) Leussi

  • Art Supplies for Remote Learning With Mrs. RT

    Funded Aug 26, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donation for my students. With your donation, I was able to make art supply bags for 800 students at my school.

We have been remote since March, and many of my students did not have art supplies at home. This Donors Choose project helped me provide every student at my school with a bag of supplies to use for art. Students received drawing paper, crayons, a black marker, a pencil, and an eraser.

This helps them participate in creative projects and feel more prepared for art class. Without these donations, many students would not be able to participate in our weekly virtual art classes. Students were so thankful and appreciate of these supply bags!

I believe during this challenging time; students should not have to worry about if they have a pencil or crayons for class. You have helped me provide many supplies for 800 students in Brockton, MA. I cannot thank you enough!

Thank you again for your generous donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. (RT) Leussi

This project will help every student at the Angelo School. We are starting the school year remotely. Many students do not have art supplies at home. With this funding, I would be able to create an art supply bag for every student at the Angelo School. This project would help give students the tools to stay creative as we start the 2020-2021 school year. This year, my art curriculum will include social emotional learning as well as art making processes. It is very important that students have art supplies at home to help them stay engaged with art.
