    Thank you so much for supporting my "Organized Materials for a Successful Year" project! It has been a big success for my students. Having all the materials readily available for active reading activities, writing, and math centers have made a difference for my students this year. My students have felt prepared to transition from subject to subject as they work on their activities. It has created a calm and smooth environment in the classroom as all my students can access the same materials at the same time rather than going around the classroom locating what they need.

  • Vibrant Colored Bins for Vibrant Bilingual Readers

    When I first introduced the classroom library, we talked about the importance of taking care of the books and how the bins will help us to keep it organized. My students are grateful and very excited to have the bins. When choosing a book, they have easy access to just take one based on the level they are looking for.

    This school year we are using a new reading program, and it has helped my students to know how to choose the right book for them. This gives my children ownership of reading a book that is not too easy but not too hard for them. This also encourages them to keep visiting the library not only for pleasure reading, but they also use it when researching about a specific topic. They just simply love to visit our classroom library.”

Most classrooms have a well developed library with a vast variety of books. My students love to read a good selection of novels and non-fiction books in both English and Spanish. My students are exceptional readers, and they deserve to have access to an inviting and organized environment where their favorite books are displayed. Using colorful and easy-access bins that are wide enough to even hold picture books, would attract my students to enhance their literacy knowledge.
