  • We Want to Be "Unlimited"

    Funded Jan 21, 2025

I’m so overwhelmed with joy looking at my fully funded project. I was just checking back to post it online and found that it’s already fully funded. I can’t wait to tell the kiddos tomorrow that we have some really good friends looking out for us. Thank you so much for your support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rojas

  • We Need Ink in a Blink

    Funded May 6, 2024

The Little Sea Otters and I had an outstanding school year and we're so grateful for the ink that you helped us purchase for all of our schoolwork.

We really enjoyed making different hats to wear to celebrate our learning, receiving certificates to acknowledge our accomplishments for learning our sight words, and making cool projects related to the Common Core State Standards and just got fun to gift to our loved ones.

The memories you've helped us capture in kindergarten will be remembered and cherished for a lifetime. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and support.”

  • Winter Treats for the Little Sea Otters

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

Thank you for donating warm gloves, chocolate bars, and watercolor books for our Little Sea Otters.

My volunteer hubby and I had so much fun putting these cute little snowmen together to gift them to our students. They were so excited upon seeing them and didn't even know that there was a chocolate bar inside.

I hope that my little ones will always remember the kindness and generosity that was shown to them and be able to reciprocate that one day to future students.

Thank you so much for sprinkling joy this holiday season.”

  • Think Ink!

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

Thanks to your support, our students received ink for our printer so that we could be able to print out valuable enrichment resources to make our learning more enjoyable.

The students have had so much fun participating in holiday crafts such as decorating a snowman with their families, coloring headbands to show that the groundhog did not see his shadow, and in preparation for this Leap Year we will be making a headband with a number line to practice counting.

We even created a new classroom job to help out with the printing duties. My little secretary who sits by my printer gets so excited every time she hears something printing out and announces to the class what fun is to come.

Thank you so much for making a difference in our classroom and for their future.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rojas

  • Teachers Supporting Teachers

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Our Little Sea Otters have been learning so much about the different ways people celebrate holidays and traditions. We even participated in our own parade on Halloween. The resources that you have provided us through Teachers Pay Teachers has enriched our learning and made it more engaging. We learned all about the plant life cycles and planted our own pumpkins. Our teacher made us cute headbands that she found on Teachers Pay Teachers .

We hope that you enjoy looking at a few of the activities that we have completed and wouldn't be possible without your support. We appreciate your kindness and thank you for your continued support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rojas

  • Independent Learning

    Funded Jul 30, 2022

I wanted to share a few photos to say thank you for your generosity. Our little sea otters are enjoying building with their Geostix, creating projects with their craft sticks, and sorting with their new language building mats.

All of these materials help to support STEAM learning and tap into different learning styles. We may have future architects, teachers, artists, etc. sitting in our classroom so we want to provide different opportunities that will help spark an interest in their brilliant minds.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rojas

  • Mathematicians Need Tools

    Funded Feb 24, 2022

Our little math wizards are having a great time counting and adding with their mathematical tools so graciously donated by you and a few other donors.

Our little sea otters are getting really quick at subitizing with the magnetic ten frame which is posted on our front wall. They get to come up and add or take away counters and challenge their classmates to think quick and say the number.

We are so thankful for all of the materials donated like the magnetic ten frame, Rekenreks, and unifix cubes. Thank you so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rojas

  • STEAM Teams

    Funded Mar 1, 2022

We received a beautiful art piece from our friends at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. It is a beautiful starfish as pictured in the center of our board.

Thanks to your kind donation we were able to use the the dot markers yo make a lovely bulletin board to display our masterpieces. We decided to title our bulletin board, "We All Shine In Our Own Way."

Thank you for providing the resources needed to make projects like this possible. We hope to continue inspiring our young artists to create many new masterpieces to share in the future.”

  • Engaging Young Minds

    Funded Mar 1, 2022

Our classroom looks so fun and inviting thanks to all of your generous donations. The students are having a blast peer teaching with their new little whiteboards.

They were so excited to share the good news with their families so I snapped a few pics to share our learning environment.

Since the pandemic it has been a challenge to bring back the fun and excitement of learning in person and away from their parents, some for the first time ever. These materials have made it more appealing to come to school so I thank you immensely for making it happen.”

  • Perfect Printing

    Funded Mar 1, 2022

Your donation of a printer and ink has made it possible for us to take learning to the next level. We are now able to provide the most up to date learning resources to our students by being able to download new ideas from the web and print them instantly.

All of our little otters learn at their own pace. Some of them require enrichment activities and some need reinforcement so having a printer in class allows me to make extra copies in a pinch.

We truly appreciate the impact you have had in our classroom and will continue to work hard for our community. Thank you so much for your support.”

When I think of my students, I think of the quote from the movie Forrest Gump, "My mama always said that life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." That's exactly how I feel about my students. I'll never know what I'm going to get unless I find a way to tap into their young minds and pull out their interests. I am fortunate to be an alumni of the school at which I now teach, and am proud to say that I love our community because of its cultural diversity which hasn't changed much over the years. The students at our school get along well with one another and encourage each other to try their best. I would like to ensure that our school and community will continue to thrive and that every student will have equal opportunities and resources so that they can be successful in life.
