I am a teacher at a charter school in California. The student population is incredibly unique, as our school district ranks as the second most diverse district in the country. With a college prep focus supported by The Leader in Me philosophy, my students come excited to learn and hungry for knowledge and interaction. They work hard, and their results show this. Although we are only in our first year, the buzz about our school has spread throughout the city, and the students are what make it so special. Growing up in the "video game" era, my students love virtual stimulation and jump at the chance to use technology of any kind in the classroom setting. We are fortunate enough to have chromebooks for each student, but meaningful activities are what truly make learning authentic and transformative! Help us learn and grow!
