Each day my students bring their unique personalities into the classroom. They bring challenges and blessings; truly helping me be a better teacher. Teaching 1st and 2nd grade students to sit well and attend to the lesson is a vital skill that will support their learning for years to come. I've found that once this skill is in place students are better equipped to learn. The carpet I use for whole group lessons was provided by amazing Donors Choose contributors. This contribution to my classroom environment has made the world of difference as students are better able to focus and access their learning.
