A World of Color: Crafting Personalized Learning Materials
Funded Dec 31, 2024I’m thrilled to share the incredible impact your kindness has had on my students! Thanks to your generous support, we now have a color printer and plenty of ink, which is already transforming the learning experience for them.
As a special education teacher, I strive to create engaging and accessible materials tailored to the unique needs of my students. With the new printer, I will be able to produce vivid visuals, interactive worksheets, and personalized learning tools that captivate their attention and enhance their understanding. For students who benefit from visual supports, seeing a concept in color can make all the difference in bridging gaps in comprehension.
Your generosity doesn’t just provide equipment—it fuels curiosity, confidence, and joy in learning. My students and I are incredibly grateful for your support and belief in their potential. Thank you for being a part of our journey.”

Funded Dec 30, 2024Thank you so much for your generous support of our DonorsChoose project to bring chick hatching supplies to our classroom! Your contribution has made it possible for my students to experience the wonder of life cycles and gain a deeper appreciation for science and nature.
With these materials, we’ll be able to create hands-on learning opportunities that spark curiosity and excitement. Watching chicks hatch will not only teach responsibility and patience but will also inspire meaningful discussions about biology and the natural world.
We are so grateful for your kindness and investment in our students’ learning journey. Your generosity will leave a lasting impact on their education and memories that they’ll cherish for years to come.
Thank you again for helping us make this project a reality!”

Board Games, Not Bored Games!
Funded Dec 1, 2023When my students walked into my learning space and saw all of the boxes stacked up on the table they went wild! I told them that some very generous people wanted to help them learn how to take turns, and practice being a good winner and loser as well as work towards incentives when finishing their work! They were so excited! I had to use some self control when letting them do all the opening but it was a great lesson in patience! They are so excited to have so many choices when it comes time to choose a game! We are so lucky to have such incredible donors. It is people like you that keeps teachers' classrooms going! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Funded Feb 24, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom. My students do not have to worry about their devices being charged any more! We no longer have to share chargers and be strategic about what we charge when! It is so nice to have my students use their devices for learning whenever they are able to and not have to wait! Thank you so much! Having our new shelves for storage is so wonderful! We can now put our consumables that we use to keep the classroom clean all nice and neat! We know what we have and can keep better inventory as well! It is because of generous donors like you that teachers can keep their classrooms running!”

Let's Play Pretend!
Funded Aug 9, 2022When those big brown boxes entered my classroom, I could see the excitement of my students grow on their faces! They are so excited to sit in our new camping tent and pretend that they are in the wilderness. They love playing pretend with the birthday party games as well as making high towers with their new letter and number blocks. We have only been in school for 16 days and I can already see their imaginations flourish. It is incredibly giving donors like you that give my students the ability to play, pretend, and learn in new ways with fun and engaging toys. Thank you from the bottom of all 13 of our hearts.”

We are so lucky to have generous donors like you! You make learning and exploring fun for kiddos and we are so grateful. Students are using their hands to make fun sand creations. Their hands are becoming stronger and their imaginations are flourishing! I can see that they are excited to do harder activities because the fun of the sand makes it easier to try! Thank you for being so incredible.”

Headphones for iPads
Funded Oct 21, 2021Our students have the benefit of using 1:1 devices this year! Most of my students are distracted by loud sounds in the classroom due to their Autism diagnosis'. Having headphones for their devices has completely changed their ability to concentrate on their work! They are able to hear what their device is asking them instead of getting confused by their peers' device next to them! These have really been a game changer in the classroom and we feel so lucky to have them. It is donors like you that truly make teaching easier. The teachers in our classroom and students thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Funded Jul 14, 2021The impact your generosity has had on my students is absolutely incredible. By limiting the fatigue in their hands while building with typical building materials, students are able to manipulate the Magnatiles into more imaginative structures! You have taken away their frustration and have given them a way to express their creativity in the classroom without struggling with materials! I can't wait to see all of the different things they will be able to make during structured play time and during math! We thank you so much. Donors like you seriously make the teaching world go 'round.”

Social Skills Books by Julia Cook!
Funded Mar 16, 2021All of my students struggle with social skills and they are some of the hardest skills to teach. Using Julia Cook's books that tackle some of these issues make it fun and easy for students to understand what to do in certain social situations! We are so grateful for your generosity.
Reading is often a whole group activity due to the lack of materials in the classroom, but because of incredible donors like you, each student is able to learn in a small group setting and have their own book to hold while we are reading.
The characters in these books are so funny and feel so real. My students are able to relate to them and know that they are not the only ones that struggle during these situations. My students are particularly enjoying "My Mouth is a Volcano" because they struggle with holding their thoughts too!
Thank you so much for helping my students learn how to live in our social world.”

Funded Dec 10, 2019I am just so thankful for your generous donations to my classroom. My students often struggle with typical activities that make their hands stronger. The materials you have allowed provided the funds for them to use to do this are so much more engaging and they absolutely love them! I didn't tell my students that the items were coming. Seeing their faces when opening the boxes was so much fun! Watching their little hands explore the new materials has been so exciting. A lot of my students are using these tools for the first time and it has been incredible watching them learn how to squish and squeeze different things all the while strengthening their hands. Thank you so much. Teachers would be so lost without generous donors like you.”
