• Reducing Paper Waste, Reusing Card Games

  I want to thank you for your generous donation to my project, "Reducing Waste by Re-using Card Games." Your support has provided essential materials that help students build math fluency across all four operations and engage with geometry in a fun, hands-on way.

  The card games and manipulatives have already made a positive difference in classrooms from kindergarten through 5th grade. Kindergarteners are especially enjoying the 3-D geometric shapes like bouncing balls, while students across all grades are eager to engage with math through games like Zoom!, Zap, and various fraction games. This approach has made math a highlight of their school day!!

  Beyond making math more enjoyable, these reusable materials support our commitment to sustainability by reducing the need for single-use printed worksheets. The games offer a lasting way for students to practice mental math and develop social skills while strengthening memory and reasoning. This wouldn't be possible without your support.

• Special Incentives to Motivate Students to Set Goals and Learn!

  Thank you so much for helping me make great memories for our students who deserve those prizes the most. The special incentives of sensory timer penguins you donated to the project are just what our students needed! In the pictures, you can see the pride and joy of being rewarded with the prize is priceless!

  While we have campaigned hard to get all our students to actively participate in exploring ST Math with JiJi through playing online math games, our students have learned about teamwork and perseverance. With the support of their classroom teachers, students learned to make SMART goals on a weekly and monthly basis.

  At the end of May, those who have worked consistently won the class reward and thus earned their own individual prize for their hard work. Thank you for making this possible!”

• Help Keep Our Young Mathematicians Engaged in Small Group!

  Thank you so much for making my request possible! My young mathematicians were thrilled and grateful to use the lectern for the first time! It gave my students the confidence to speak and practice speaking. Having to stand behind the lectern command a sense of importance for our student leader who is speaking at the moment. Thank you for making this happen! Students in a small group are now able to take turns and be the group's leader as they rotate around the adjustable lectern. Some students from our neighbor classrooms also get to borrow our lectern when they want to practice their speech before they make their weekly schoolwide announcement.

  The storage containers will display writing tools for them as they are able to grab what they need during small group learning. This center will continue to be organized and accessible to all students. My young mathematicians will become self-directed learners in an organized environment.   Thank you so much for your generous donation of materials to my math classroom! I was able put them into use right away at the beginning of the school year. My students and I are so thankful for the bright rug that fits perfectly in front of our whiteboard that we use every day!

  The comfy and thick rug with numbers and visuals. This has enabled me to create a rich environment that will naturally elicit both formal and informal language in a non-threatening setting.

• Tools to Engage and Build Math Minds!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students have thoroughly enjoyed the materials that include the portable collapsible 5 holes game set It has been used as incentives for our weekly Fun Fridays. Not only did my students enjoy playing the game, they also get to practice computational skills such as adding the total number of slots they have scored. Because they love to win, they work hard to compute the numbers in the process. All the other items like the balances and ten-frames have been put into effective use to engage students for each specific real-world lesson related to math standards.

  Your support in the purchase of the materials has a positive impact on my students. They have truly used these tools to engage and build math minds. I love the fact that they get to solve math problems while having a lot of fun out of the games.”
