The use of computers has become an essential part of our reading stations. However, without our much-needed headphones, students not only read and listen to the story of their choice, but they also listen to the stories from the student next to them. This turns into chaos! The headphones will provide students the opportunity to actually enjoy reading and listening to stories without the chaos. The dry erase markers are needed for our lap board activities. To be honest, we've been squeezing the life out of our old dry erase markers for too long. The rug will give our classroom library a sense of home, which unfortunately some lack the feeling of a cozy home.
