My students are kind, caring individuals. They each have unique personalities that work together to create our classroom community. Children and teachers have shared responsibility over the classroom environment and learning opportunities. We use our imaginations to explore responsibility and emotions through various roles and expectations. Students learn to become strong lovers of literature through reading and writing workshops, learning to see themselves as true authors with something important to say. We are scientists in much of our learning, asking questions and finding creative ways to explore concepts. We focus on analytical thinking while exploring mathematic concepts each day. We appreciate the support you choose to provide our classroom!
