Using a multimedia reading program would help my students develop reading fluency. These programs are geared toward the individual student's needs. The idea is that they are always being challenged. Technology captures students’ attention, and engages them in a way that traditional classroom instruction does not. Computers, such as the requested Chromebooks, in the classroom may be used to research a favorite athlete for a biography report, learn more about an important event in history, clarify significance of an upcoming holiday, and participate in a number of web-based reading programs to build students' vocabulary and reading skills. Your donation will supply my students with the appropriate tools they need to reach their goals.
