I am the luckiest teacher in the world!! Helping students to find their LOVE of History! Nothing could be better than that! Too see light bulbs go off and faces light up when information finally clicks! Or to hear students share that History use to be hard or boring and now its not... How could that not make all the hard times worth it?! Unfortunately, although my students have all the potential in the world, they deal with many struggles outside of the classroom that distract them from reaching who we all know they can become given the right environment. Many students at our Title 1 school come with nothing to eat, no supplies, and parents who aren't always home to help them reach their educational goals. So, that is now my goal. Doing whatever I can to show that these students are loved, cherished, and know they have someone who is fighting for their potential!
