  • Color Expo

    Funded Mar 1, 2019

My classroom has two amazing printers, but if they are not fully stocked with ink and toner, then they are just gathering dust. Students love to come up during lunch time to use the computers to print their colorful book reports so that they will have the chance for them to be posted on the bulletin boards for all to see. Also, having enough ink means that I can print out anything at a moment's notice for my students, whether they need extra scaffolds or class notes printed out to place into their binder for quick study.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Piazza

  • Clean Classroom, Clear Mind!

    Funded Aug 31, 2018

Having snacks and cleaners in the classroom allows us to have a welcoming and inviting classroom. In addition, the paper towel and tissues have been absolutely helpful throughout the school year, with colds, the flu, and allergies. Also, having a classroom sink is advantage, but only if you have the proper items to keep it clean and managed. Students love to come up during lunch to eat and use the computers, and having the Popcorners available to them was super important in continuing keeping them coming and getting their work done.”

  • All the Paper to Cover You With

    Funded Mar 1, 2019

Thank you so much for helping us get this amazing classroom resource! My students will now be able to sort through the colors they desire for their book reports! We've already decided where the sorter will go in the classroom so that students can get the supplies they need to make their book reports stand out on our bulletin boards.”

  • Colorful & Clear Copy Paper for Pupil Presentation

    Funded Jan 30, 2019

My students and I were so excited to have this project fully fund! Having colored paper at our disposal is super important in order to encourage students to easily find and locate resources in their Source Book Binder. "Take out the green sheet," is much easier for my students to understand instead of, "Take out the nonfiction signposts." Also, as students write their essays for the last assignment of the nonfiction unit that we had to print a lot of articles for, being able to color code different parts of their essays has been an invaluable advantage to remove any issues with understanding what part goes where in an essay. Thank you so much!”

  • Prints for Productive & Pensive Poets

    Funded Jan 26, 2019

Having toner available for our classroom printer is an invaluable resource since students need to have worksheets, resources, and their book reports printed on a daily basis. If the resource is not available to them, there is more of a chance that they will be unable to complete their assignment or be prepared for handing in their assignments on time. But, as we use this amazing resource, it runs out, so having it on hand is extremely helpful to our success this school year. Thank you so much for making this a possibility for me and my students!”

  • Colorful Engagement!

    Funded Aug 13, 2018

Having these supplies has been a lifesaver in my classroom. Students know to go to the letter trays for all the things they need to complete their book reports, update their Source Books, and catch up on any assignments they missed while they were absent. Having this central location in our classroom is an amazing time saver for students and myself. In addition, having colored pencils ready and available for students to use in order to complete their book reports is extremely helpful to them and to me! Thank you so much!”

  • Classroom Refresh

    Funded Feb 5, 2019

Thank you so much for making this project a reality! We have been so in need of some new highlighters as we have used them so consistently and thoroughly during our Argument Unit. Students have to read and notate articles, and having reliable highlighters at our disposal has been amazingly helpful. Also, having reliable markers on hand has been extremely helpful as a lot of the markers we've been using since the beginning of the school year have either been worn out or have dried up. Thank you so much for making this possible!”

  • Resource For Reflective Students

    Funded Jan 23, 2019

Having a classroom computer that students can use during lunch allows for focused use of their time. My students love to come up to my classroom during lunch, but not having a computer that they could use was detrimental to them getting the full use of their lunchtime. They would patiently wait for me to finish using my computer so that they could print out book reports, homework, or classwork that they wanted to make sure had a more polished look. Computers are an invaluable resource to helping students be successful now and throughout their education.”

  • Happy, Healthy, and Hunger-Free!

    Funded Jan 21, 2019

Having healthy solutions for snacking in our classroom is imperative for successful choices to be made by my students as they progress in their academics. Students love to come up to my classroom during lunch time because they know that they will be fed. They may not know how the snacks are chosen with a healthy aspect in mind, so it helps to have some sweets mixed in. Also, the cleaning supplies were absolutely necessary to make sure that our classroom remains germ and dirt-free. Thank you again for your donation to our classroom.”

Having everything organized and accessible to my students at a moments notice means that they will have more time to complete the tasks at hand. The colored pencils will be used during our work period activities to help students be engaged in the topic we are exploring daily, and they will be housed in the craft cabinet being requested. The grouping pencils will help the students quickly see exactly where they should be seated for group collaboration, getting to the fun stuff quicker! Hanging notes visible for students encourages usage of resources and scaffolds for their assignments, such as vivid verbs, or our unit vocabulary. Lastly, organizing our classroom paper in the letter trays encourage students to add some pizzazz to their writing, project, or assignment.
