The items requested today will be used during our free choice time in the classroom. During free choice the students are able to create and play freely around the classroom. The foam blocks will be used for building homes, castles, and other building the students think of making. Other items included will be added to our art area to allow student to create works of art that they will be proud to take home and share with parents. Students need the opportunity for creative, open ended play. All items requested today will allow the students in my kindergarten classroom to use their minds without being stifled. This open ended play allows the students opportunities to also work on social skills as they work together to create and build. The classroom is full of energy and joy during free choice time, and all items requested will add to the positive environment.
