Our community is a hard-working rural population where most of our parents are farm workers and come from low socio-economic backgrounds. As an educator my goal is to foster the love of reading to our little ones. Over 80% of our students are English Learners and reading provides background information, vocabulary, and inspires them to become life-long readers and learners. I, myself, was an English learner and books were my ticket to aspiring to become an educator.

About my class
