As a new school library, we are in need of books, computers and tablets. My Students: I enjoy working with students and teaching them research and library skills. In order to be successful in college, students need to know how to locate credible information and navigate online reference resources. Our population is primarily comprised of Haitian-Creole and Hispanic students with about 45% of the population enrolled for free or reduced lunch. Our curriculum is designed to prepare our students to be well-rounded individuals and help them develop critical thinking skills. Presently, we are in need of both tablets and computers. My Projects: My students would use their tablets for library projects and to learn how to use online research resources. Computers would be used for literacy and academic projects in the library. Your donation of these items will make it possible for them to acquire these skills.
