Having iPads in our classroom will benefit each student as they will be able to work with technology to reinforce skills being taught in class. My first graders will be able to practice sight words and phonics, read and listen to stories, practice number sense and math skills. As Bill Gates once said, “Our current expectations for what our students should learn in school were set fifty years ago to meet the needs of an economy based on manufacturing and agriculture; we now have an economy based on knowledge and technology.“

About my class
