STEM Bin Supplies
Funded Nov 26, 2018My students are having a blast using the STEM bin materials. This is the first time they have been given a task and containers of random materials. At first they were not sure what to do without step by step instructions but after a few minutes they were in love with the STEM task cards. They have been creating airplanes, taskcard towers, chimneys, and many other creative creations. The students are having such a blast they do not realize they are being scientist, engineers and mathematicians. Thank you for supplying the materials to get these STEM bins started in our classroom!”

Let Us Work on the Floor
Funded Oct 15, 2018Thank you so much for your donations to this project. We are on our way to having the tools available to be academically successful. My students were so excited to unbox the new table and floor chairs that was purchased just for them.
My students are using this floor seating to practice their reading skills in small groups, as well as reading and math skills. I have set the table up as a station rotation in classroom for math and science. Students during the day will have an opportunity to work on various enrichment activities or make up work with the floor seats.
Once again, thank you for your generosity.”

Funded Aug 15, 2018Thank you for your support in our classroom. The students have really enjoyed being able to add sentences, definitions and pictures to our interactive wordwall. They are now asking everyday if they can add something. I love how they are taking ownership over the new wall. The students think the chalk markers are magic. No dust and no rubbing off. We even had a teacher comment and try rubbing on a mistake that was made. She turned around and asked what kind of marker was used, as she needed this in her room! Thank you for helping my students learn in a fun way.”

Dazzling Desk
Funded Aug 20, 2018My students are really loving the new desk and chairs. They are asking to use these items if another student is absent. That tells me that the students are more comfortable sitting and working in these new desk and chairs, than in their current desk and chairs. We have replaced two very small desk and chairs and three that were bent and coming apart. The white surface it a better background for writing on desk. The students are able to see their writing with all colors of dry erase markers. As before we could only use black dry erase markers. My students are so excited about using these new desks. I appreciate your support in education and my classroom. I am really excited that these desks are allowing my students to be comfortable while working.”

Funded Aug 2, 2018Thank you so much for your support in our classroom and in education! My students are so excited to be able to print their designs and projects in color. We have been learning for years in math and science with projects/ flashcards/pictures in black and white. I can not tell you how excited I am to be able to print all of these things in color. This will allow all learners to see what the objects/pictures really shows. This is such a huge learning tool for my English Language Learners! Thank you again for your support and seeing that this tool is essential in learning.”

Organization in Math
Funded Jun 12, 2018Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. My students are all able to keep track of their math activities in their very own journal. They are loving to use colored pencils and pens to code different parts of their paper. For example they colored the different parts/periods of a place value chart. The glue sticks are coming in handy to glue in examples in their math journals but also their science journals. I am excited that all students have a journal and they are able to have what is needed this year in one place! It helps the classroom run smoothly. Thank you again for your support.”

Funded May 10, 2018Thank you for your support in our classroom. It is so overwhelming to have people you do not know help your classroom out. It is appreciated more than you will ever know. My students are really enjoying their new seat. They want to sit on the stools all day. They will use the stool at their desk, in small groups at a large table group, and while working with a clipboard. They are really enjoying being able to move while they work without bothering their friends next to them. We very much appreciate your generous donation to help bring wiggle stools to our class!”
