  • Sturdy Seat, Organization and Tile Protector

    Funded Aug 31, 2023

Thank you for your support in my classroom. The students have enjoyed being able to use the wiggle stools on the mats. Some days they just sit in the mat! Ready to work with their group during station time. The stool has been a great addition to our small group table. They hop up on the stools ready to learn! The seat sacks are a wonderful way to help students keep their items organized and separated from others. Thank you again for your generous support in education and our classroom. These Items are used daily.”

  • Fourth Grade Fun Supplies

    Funded Jul 24, 2023

Thank you for helping my class and classroom gather some of the necessary items that we will need throughout the year. The new books were great reads for the first week of school. The students could relate to Benny the Brave, You're Finally Here and The Crayons Go Back to School! We have our color dots next to our new name tags/plates to know our "special" number for our classroom. This way we always know whose supplies are around the room if left.

The index cards we will write our Vocabulary words for the week and hang in our room for the entire year. The eraser caps and pencils will be used as students loose/forget their pencil somewhere else. The eraser caps have been a big hit and they are wanting them as a reward, asking how can I earn an eraser!

Thank you again for your support.”

  • New Year, New Materials

    Funded Jul 24, 2023

Thank you for your support! I appreciate it more than you probably realize. Students will use the supply book bags to hold their daily supplies for writing and reading. The rack will hold 10 bags of supplies, so students can grab and go work within the room. Each bag contains whisper phone, highlighter, alphabet (cursive) and highlighter reader strip.

The magnetic shelves are my favorite! Such a great way to show case our stories we are reading. All the other materials are equally exciting and beginning used! I will use the hot glue soon to hopefully hold up a water bottle or headphone chart. You are a blessing, thank you again.”

  • End Of Year Fun With Disney and the Beach

    Funded May 16, 2023

Thank you for helping our end of year be magical. My students came in saying "who did this, where did this come from, this is so exciting, this is the best day!" Thanks to you they got to feel the magic of end of year and celebrate their achievements. Disney day was magical. They got their pictures taken in front of the castle backdrop, wore Mickey ears, sang, danced, rode virtual rides and watched virtual fireworks at the end.

Beach day was also a special day of outside blowing bubbles, wearing sunglasses, drawing with chalk, popsicles, wearing flip flops and playing with beach balls.

    Thank you for your support!”

  • Math Penguin Support

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Students have worked hard this year learning math concepts with Jiji the penguin. They were so excited to see Jiji the stuffed animal join our classroom. They all wanted to take their picture with Jiji.

The stand up Jiji with a dry erase belly has been a great accessory to use during small group instruction. Students are motivated to learn new skills with Jiji!

When a goal is met while working on our computer based math or gram, students earn Jiji and penguin stickers! They love earning stickers to place on water bottles, folders and their devices.”

  • Take Home Reading Bag

    Funded Jan 25, 2023

Thank you for allowing my students to have reading bag to take home. They have enjoyed reading books with their reading silent phones along with their reading pointer. Some take their reading bag every night home to read. Can't wait to tell them they get to keep everything and take home for summer.

The reading phones are a true reminder to some of how loud or quiet their voice is when they read out loud. This device has helped students realize the volume of their voice. The finger point has helped students track the words as they read.”

  • Beach Day

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

Students had a blast in our Beach Day in the middle of winter. We also celebrated 100 day with our theme of beach. We were O'fishially 100 days smarter! The Students had a blast in the different stations/center reviewing skills and celebrating the one hundredth day of school. The backdrops were a huge success for helping the room feel like a warm sunny beach. Students enjoyed using the blue starfish as counters in their math station. The big palm leaves were used at their counting mat in another math activity with little fish. Thank you again for helping make learning fun!”

  • Outside Learning

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

Thank you for helping my students have seating for outside learning. Texas weather is so different that we can go outside most of the year. We went outside this week to look at the sky to search for the sun, moon and other objects in our atmosphere. The students were very excited to get to learn outside. We even went back to complete our math lesson later in the week. They were focused on their task at hand while also enjoying a cool breeze with sun shining. Can not wait for us to be able to get the sunshade hung for the Texas summer heat.”

  • Mini Erasers and Pencils

    Funded Oct 19, 2022

Thank you for providing the opportunity for my students to learn with hands- on materials. They love to use the small erasers during math to count, add and subtract. We also use the small erasers to build the sounds to the words. We push an eraser into the box for each sound, then write the letter underneath. Having the hands on experience helps our minds remember what we are learning.

Along with have the erasers as learning tools, we also can earn a special eraser for doing a great job of learning the skills we have been working on. Some have quite the collection already! Thank you again.”

  • Let's Go Camping

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Thank you for supporting my classroom with the supplies to transform our room into a camping area. The students used flashlights to read books and work on Language and Math activities throughout the day. The tent was a big hit, they loved working in the tent and around the campfire. One student said this is so much fun, it was one of the best days of school so far. Students went "fishing" for words and sat in camping chairs to read. During math we fished for addition problems and then said the subtraction problems that went with it. The students had a great time camping on a Texas Rainy day.”
