I have been given the amazing opportunity to work at a small rural school in Ohio. The library services all students in the school - kindergarten through 12th grade. It has felt like I have stepped back in time. It is equipped with a chalkboard, an overhead projector, some VHS and cassette tapes and a few old computers (many of which don't work). I struggle with the challenge of educating the students to make them competitive with students who have more access to technology. I'm hoping with your help to be able to introduce my students to technology that will better prepare them for the world they will face upon graduation. I appreciate your time considering my proposal as I look for ways to meet the educational needs of my students.
