Funded Oct 1, 2024I want to thank you for your contribution to my classroom. When we received the inside recess toys, it was like Christmas morning. The children were so excited, they asked if we could have inside recess that day. They could not wait for a rainy day or a cold day that required us to stay in.
Inside recess finally came and the new toys were brought out. Being able to get out of the classroom and play in the hallway made a huge difference! They were able to use those gross motor skills playing hopscotch and running around cones. Throwing bean bags to play tic tac toe was exhilarating. Playing checkers on the big checkerboard was enjoyable and exciting while working on their cognitive skills.
As the weather turns colder, these indoor games will help keep my students interested in play, keep them from getting bored with our center activities, continue building their gross motor skills and cognitive skills. I thank you again for your contribution to my classroom and for my students.”

Funded Jun 16, 2023My students were so excited when they saw the big boxes being delivered to our classroom. Once I opened them and put the light table together they were intrigued. I explained what we will be using the table for and showed them all the supplies that came with it and they all started clapping and yelling with excitement.
Each day, after we finish with our math lesson and handwriting, my students are excited to get a chance to practice their sorting on the light table. They enjoy sorting with the buttons and the jewels the most. I have a couple of students who have decided to take a piece of paper and a pencil over to the table and write their numbers as they put a number on the table.
The light table is making the learning process in my room more fun and engaging. I want to thank you again for the contributions you made to bring this project to life. Without donors like you, this would have never taken place.”

We Can Grasp It All!
Funded Nov 5, 2022It was Christmas in November in our Kindergarten classroom. My students were so excited to see all of the new stuff come out of those "big" boxes. They couldn't believe their eyes.
I started using the lacing beads and mosaic magnetic designers first. I put them in our center rotation. My students absolutely loved them and couldn't say thank you enough. Some of my sweet friends struggled at first, as their fine motor skills are lacking. After a while, the center became easier.
All of the resources you purchased for us will be of great use. These little hands need so much more work. All of the supplies you purchased will become part of our center rotation throughout the year as I continue working on fine motor skills and improving on their handwriting, cutting, etc.”

Funded Feb 8, 2022My students have absolutely enjoyed using their new resources. The Pop Up Math game has increased their ability to add without having to use their fingers all of the time. They are constantly asking to use it instead of doing math in their workbook.
Fishing for Sight words has been an amazing resource. My students love playing it and helping one another read their words. Their reading ability has increased by 30%. I am such a grateful teacher.
This could not have happened without your donation to our classroom. My students are thankful and enjoy learning in such a fun environment.”

Funded Aug 12, 2021When my students saw our new supplies for the first time, they were very excited. As soon as they saw the globe, their questions they had were plentiful. Every year we teach "Christmas Around the World" and I explained how we would be using this during these lessons. As I taught this unit this year, I had many of my students constantly going to the globe to see where the country was located in respect to where we live. It was a great learning tool.
Due to the pandemic, many of my students come to kindergarten behind where they should be. Using the phonics magnetic sorting tiles in small group has made a great difference. My students are catching up faster than they usually do. I thank you again for all of the new supplies you have added to our classroom this year. The puzzles and pattern block cards are a huge hit during center time. You have made a great impact in my classroom this year.”

Funded Oct 3, 2020When my students walked in and saw their new cubby space, they were excited. It has been a blessing in the classroom.
They have been able to work more diligently with more space on their tables. They finish their work and put their supplies away.
I hear from them daily how happy they are to have their own space, off of their tables, to put their supplies. They have learned to take ownership in how their area looks. You truly helped make a difference in our classroom. I cannot thank you enough for you generosity. This has truly been a life saver.”

Learning Is Fun and Safe!
Funded Sep 2, 2020Thank you very much for your wonderful donations. We use our new materials daily. Every morning, I greet my students with a smile, an air high-five and check temperatures before they enter the classroom. Safety begins the moment they enter.
My students are so glad to be able to use our supplies anytime we need them because we are able to sanitize them. We no longer have to wait three days before we can use our legos or counting bears.
When my students saw the new games, they were excited! Then we started playing them and they were even more thrilled. They enjoy working on their letters while playing Go Fish and our new matching game. It's been a wonderful start to the new school year.”

Relaxing While Learning
Funded May 28, 2020Thank you once again for your generosity and support for my classroom. When I was notified that our supplies were delivered, I was so excited. The very next day, I went in early and set up the reading center with our new furniture. When my students arrived, they all noticed it immediately. They were so thrilled, they all wanted to start the day by kicking back and reading a good book. Now, I rotate small groups through and they enjoy sitting back, putting their feet up, reading and looking through multiple books.
When they saw all of the new learning games, they cheered. My classroom is bare, as I am starting up a new class. The new games were a huge hit. They are excited to play the rhyming bingo game. Rhyming is a harder skill to learn, but the game makes it easier.
We started reviewing shapes and the shape sorting game has been a blast. My students like to sort them in many different ways. They have learned about the attributes of the shapes by using the sorters and being able to really hold the shape in their hands. It's been a great start to the new school year.”

Funded Oct 24, 2019We greatly appreciate your donation and support of our classroom. When our boxes arrived, the students thought we were having an early Christmas. They were able to help unpack our supplies and were all excited and telling me what they were going to use them for....and gave us ideas on what we could use them for.
With the new supplies we have been able to continue working on our handwriting daily and working on our fine motor skills by coloring and cutting. My students are more engaged in their learning because they are able to work with their letters in a more creative and hands on environment.
They enjoy using all of our classroom materials. Thank you again for providing this opportunity for my students.”
