  • An Apple for My ELLs

    I have discovered many great websites to use with my students! Your donations enabled me to purchase a laptop that I can use with my students. I prepare my lessons at home on the laptop, then can connect it to my SmartBoard at school. I have found wonderful websites and apps that engage my students such as EdPuzzle, Reading A-Z, Screencastify, and many others.

    Your generosity has enabled me to become more flexible in my planning, providing more technological entry points for my English Language Learners. The visual lessons created on the new laptop are excellent ways to teach language.

  • New Supplies for a Hybrid New Year for My ELLs!

    This has been a difficult year for all so your generosity is especially appreciated! Only a few students at a time are allowed in the classroom and the individual supply cases are extremely helpful. The students love that they have their own supplies and look forward to using them in my classroom. I teach English Language Learners. Drawing pictures is a vital part of their learning which shows comprehension for students with limited English. I thank you and my students thank you!”

As we start the new year, we are going to be learning from both home and at school. In order to stay safe and healthy, I would like to supply each of my students with their own supply cases, pencils, crayons and glue sticks. These materials will help them learn in their English as a New Language classes by providing materials necessary to help them communicate. I would like to keep my students safe and healthy while learning in school and at home. Thank you for considering this project for my students!
