Welcome to my Donor's Choose page. I am a special educator at a high school in a large Maine city where the poverty rate is high. I work primarily with special needs students who are mainstreamed in the regular education setting, providing them support in their classes, so they may be successful. I am in charge of a learning center, a place in the school where students can drop in to get extra help in their classrooms. The students I teach have a myriad of qualifying disabilities, including autism, ADHD, mental health disabilities, specific learning disabilities, visual impairments.
