  • Seat Sacks for All!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you so much for your very generous donations to our Kindergarten classroom. Our students were so excited to have a place for their belongings that keeps everything clean and tidy. When the seat sacks arrived they were so excited to see them. The students use these all day everyday and it was essential for them to have them in place. If were not for these generous donations our students would have materials all over the floor. Thanks again it is truly appreciated by our students and teachers.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DaSilva

  • Full STEM Ahead!

    Funded Sep 12, 2020

Thank you so much for your generosity! The joy on my students faces when they saw all their new supplies for STEM was so heartfelt. My students are filled with so much excitement that they get to build on their free time. They enjoy making all types of things and using their hands to do so. Throughout the day the students are able to go grab their busy bags once they complete their work and can build. The students have become so creative with building. Making houses, building or even different types of patterns with their blocks. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DaSilva

  • A Sense of Focus

    Funded Nov 2, 2019

Thank you so much for donating to our project "A Sense of Focus". Your donations have truly helped my class stay focused while working. Something so simple as headphones can go a long way in a classroom filled with 25 students all with different learning needs.

Your donation has helped my autistic children to stay focused while learning and not being easily distracted or bothered by loud noises. These headphones are also helping with my ENL students to learn English and to be able to focus on their work.

We greatly appreciate all of your help. Your donations have helped my students grow already and I have seen so much progress in their work already!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DaSilva

  • Learning with Tablets!

    Funded Jun 6, 2019

As we know technology has transformed life as we know it, and the classroom looks much different than it did 50—or even 10—years ago. Traditional chalkboards have been replaced with digital whiteboards, and classrooms are now trying to get rid of text books and us tablets or iPads.

You may think technology is just a distraction, but it can help encourage active participation in your classroom. Using devices like a computer, tablet, or other type of technology in your classroom can help turn traditionally dull subjects into interactive and fun activities. It also helps the student who does not learn visually to be hands on.

Each child in my classroom is different, and it can be challenging to adjust my learning plan to fit every student. Fortunately, technology in education can help me modify my lessons and help differentiate for all my students.

So we thank you for your generous donation and helping my students to reach their best potential!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DaSilva
