  • SEL and Math for Little Learners

    Funded Aug 7, 2022

Thank you so much for supporting me and my amazing students. Your kind donations have given me the opportunity to have Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards. I am able to use these gift cards to purchase the exact resources my students need for learning and extra support.

This year teaching two grades is difficult. At the start of the school year, I didn't have everything I needed for first grade. Being able to purchase teaching materials for my first grades has been amazing. My students are eager to learn and love the fun activities I choose for them each week. Thank you again, for all of your support.”

    With gratitude,

  • Engaging Math Resources for Dramatic Play

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

Thank you so much for contributing to my project. Through your generous donations, I have been able to purchase teaching resources for my students. Being able to have resources that meet the needs of my students is so important. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards that I received have given me the opportunity to select the perfect materials for my students.

The resources that I was able to purchase are just what I need. Although we have big box curriculum, it doesn't always meet the needs of our students. Being able to purchase the right resources is som important. Again, thank you so much for supporting us.”

  • Flexible Seating for Fantastic Learners

    Funded Aug 16, 2022

Thank you so much for supporting my Flexible Seating Classroom Project. I love my new rug. It makes my classroom look cozy and the kids have a fun place to sit and work.

The three-drawer carts work perfectly to hold our headphones. Each drawer is for one specific table. My students can quickly access their headphones The drawers keep everything neat and tidy.

My two new wobble stools are a perfect fit for our classroom. They are used daily with students who need the freedom to move while working at their tables.

All f these items help to make my classroom a safe and fun learning environment for all of my students. Thank you so much for your generosity.”

  • Organization for Kindergartners

    Funded May 28, 2022

Thank you so very much for helping to fund my project for Organization for Kindergarten. I work very hard to help my students stay organized. Having the right tools for organization is key. The Seat Sacks help my students stay organized by providing a space for their folders and binders. These go over their chair making it easy for them to reach materials without having to get up and walk about the classroom. This cuts down on our transition time- which means we are spending more time learning. The pencil pouches keep all of their crayons, scissors, and glue with them for easy access.

Thank you again for helping me to help my students stay organized.”

  • Phonics Tools for Amazing Little Learners

    Funded Jul 24, 2022

Thank you so very much for supporting my project for phonics tools. I am creating personal phonics tool kits for each of my students. The tools are amazing, they help the students while learning letters and sounds. Students can use the whisper phones to hear themself whole make sounds. The crayons have been the best I have ever used. My students love having their very own box. Having a variety of colors available to use makes their drawing amazing. I love that these crayons do not have paper wrappers and are extremely durable for little users. Again, thank you for your support.”

  • Books for Teaching Students to Read

    Funded Apr 26, 2022

I can't thank you enough for supporting my project. I was so excited to get started on reading the professional development books that were purchased with this project. I love teaching my students how to read. This summer I am thrilled to read more about the best ways to teach reading and phonemic awreness to my students. I have already finished one book and am working on the second of the three books. While reading, my mind was racing with new ideas to implement next year. I was also able to purchase books for the students that will foster their reading development. I shared a few of these with my students before school let out, they loved them and found them to be engaging.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to learn more, so that I can serve my students even better”

  • Decodable Readers for Take-Home Practice

    Funded May 6, 2022

Thank you so much for helping me bring decodable readers to my students. My students are all just learning how to read. Having the right kinds of books to foster their reading development is crucial. They were so excited when I showed them the new books to add to our classroom library. The decodable readers are just what my students need. These books are written in a way that allows my students to use what they know about letter sounds and reading. When they are unsure of a word, they are able to decode it, by sounding out each letter and then blending the sounds together. These books are fostering my students' reading development. My students want to read these books because they feel successful when they are reading these types of books. Thank you for helping me make my students excited about reading.”

  • Dramatic Play for Engaging All Students

    Funded Apr 21, 2022

Words cannot thank you enough for helping to fund this amazing project. So often schools are focused on reading, writing, math, and test scores. With the emphasis on achievement, often the time for social skills and imaginative play is left behind. This project has provided me with the materials I need to create a dramatic play area to use during our center rotations. The Pizzaria is a class favorite. My students were able to practice taking each other's orders, building pizzas, and then sorting all the pizza ingredients when it was time to clean up. I cannot wait to implement the other dramatic play stations, to see just how creative and imaginative my students can be.”

  • Phonemic Awareness Manipulatives and Supplies for Beginning Readers

    Funded Apr 3, 2022

Thank you so very much for funding this project. Teaching my students how to read, gives me such joy. The items from this project will help my students have a better understanding of phonemic awareness. I know that these items will also greatly benefit my students who are struggling with all of the components of being better readers. The push pop-its are being used for segmenting and blending basic sounds in three-letter CVC words. This hands-on tactile activity is helping my students so much. I know that starting out the next school year with these supplies will truly help the next group of beginning readers. Thank you so much for believing in this project.”

    With gratitude,

  • Organizational Tools for Little Learners

    Funded Jan 29, 2022

Thank you so much for funding my project of Organizational Tools for Little Learners. My students are learning how to keep items organized and these tools are truly helping us keep all of our materials in the right places within the classroom. As a teacher, I don't have time to be looking around the classroom for what we need. Everything in our classroom has a specific space. These materials truly help to keep our classroom neat and tidy. My students are also learning valuable life-long skills about the necessity for the organization of their belongings and classroom items. Again, thank you for supporting me and my studnets.”

I teach at a very low socio--economic school. The majority of my students are second language learners. More than 3/4 of my class is on free or reduced lunch. Asking our families to help with fundraisers is out of the question. My students love school, they love to learn and are eager to learn.
