  • Draw, Write, Erase

    Funded May 21, 2020

    During the pandemic when my students were all learning from home, they were so excited to see the gifts they were given. One student commented, " We get to keep all this, thank you so much."

    My students were able to use the dry erase boards to practice their name writing, practice forming shapes and it was easy for them to show me their work and then erase and use the boards again. They were able to create pictures, using the multi colored dry erase markers and the construction paper to create art projects.

    I want to thank Donors Choice for giving my students the resources while they were learning at home, some hands on materials to use during the pandemic. You always come through for the teachers and the students needs thank you so much!”

  • Pre-K Goes 3-D

    My Pre-K students were so excited to get new supplies for our 3D art bin. The children have a choice of centers daily, the new supplies has made the 3D art bin a popular choice again with all the added cardstock paper, colored masking tape, sturdy cardboard for the base or to make their project more durable.

    They especially love all the different colored masking tapes that they can add to their project or use to build with. I have seen some fancy robots and decorated towers etc. The children use their imaginations, not one project is identical- I love to see what they create.

    The children are excited to take their 3D art home to share with their families. The sturdiness of the new supplies also helps with transporting home. The 3D art can actually make it home. Thanks to all our donors”

My preschool students (Pre-K) will love making their 3-D art projects with different materials to bring out their creative side. In our art area, we have a 3-D bin that is always in need of more supplies; buttons, ribbons, pipe cleaners, felt, etc. Most importantly, we need the sturdy card stock paper so when they mount their projects-it will last and make it home to share with their families! My Pre-K students will enjoy making creative projects using their imagination! The 3-D hands-on projects let my students create and explore art media that we usually don't have due to lack of funding. The supplies will help my students use different materials and techniques to make art creations that reflect the students' thoughts and feelings.
