Recently my students had an opportunity to use an iPad for a few hours in our classroom on Digital Learning Day. They were able use the iPad to draw, write, and tell about their ideas. They were able to share their work instantly with their families at home. Our school has two iPads to share between 20+ classrooms.
Having access to iPads on a regular basis would help expand our learning opportunities and our communication with families at home.
The iPads will offer students the ability to create and share their ideas digitally. They will also have access to applications that support the Virginia Foundation Blocks for Early Learning in Pre-K.
