• Accessible Classroom Library Update

• Small Capsules of Positivity

  We are so very grateful to have our project funded. When I first set up the vending machine, the students were in awe of it! They get so excited to get a chance to turn the knob and earn a prize. Instead of just handing them out, the joy and excitement from earning the mystery prize is there!

  I am so thankful that I am able to reward the students with a small token of praise. I usually purchase my own prizes, so to have this project funded with the variety of prizes included is amazing. From erasers to pencil toppers, fidget gadgets and more, there is something for everyone!

  Our students have worked really hard on our classroom culture and positivity and this project fits right in. I love seeing the students happy and excited, so I greatly appreciate your donations to my students.”

• Sparking Joy in Reading

  Funded Oct 5, 2024

  Reading for fun and enjoyment has increased this year in my classroom, thanks to your generous donations. Every morning, my students come in and get settled, then open up a book to read. With the range of novels in our classroom library, there are options for all students.

  I have students who have already read through at least 3 novels! Providing them with the opportunity to have relatable characters, engaging plots, and amazing themes is a great gift that you have all provided to them. Thank you so much for choosing our classroom to support.”

• Creating a Safe Classroom

  Funded May 10, 2024

  Your generous donation towards our wireless and handheld vacuum has helped to keep our classroom clean and safe. Our flexible seating areas are very special to us, so we definitely needed the help to clean up after each day. Since they are easy to use, students are able to be a part of using them as class helpers. They were so happy when we unboxed them and seeing their smiles when I told them that donors were able to supply our classroom with them, they were so grateful.

  Our classroom is our special space where we come to learn and grow together. Helping to keep it clean is a priority for us and if we did not have these supplies, it would be difficult to ensure that the carpets, couch, and cushions stayed as dust-free as possible. When we can all keep these areas clean, then students feel more comfortable in choosing where to sit and how they'd like to work for the day. All thanks to you, we are able to enjoy our spaces!

• Creativity and Healing

  Funded Feb 17, 2024

  The donations in this project have really excited my students. They were surprised to see that they had the opportunity to work with different types of arts, including sewing and crocheting. Although challenging, they have continued to show interest and are glad that they could try it out.

  The art supplies have also helped to enhance our PBL projects of creating our own arcade or carnival games for our PTO Fun Fair. The paint containers, glue guns and sticks, pipecleaners, and other art crafts helped to beautify our games, which were such a great success and earned lots of revenue to support our school.

  We are so grateful for the opportunity to add to our learning. Thank you once again for funding our project, which is encouraging our creativity and healing for ourselves.”
