Learning in a Clean Environment
Funded Apr 7, 2024Thank you very much for the wipes for cleaning. We were able to learn and play without worrying about getting sick. It allowed me as the classroom to teacher to be confident in having a clean and healthy learning environment.
The tables, shelves, books and toys were wiped after every use. Both before and after playing and eating.
I look forward to knowing that the students in my classroom are learning in a clean environment without worrying if something is dirty.
Thank you for your continued support of public education and my classroom.”

Funded Nov 15, 2021The students and I enjoyed reading our new books. The books were used to teach the students that it's just fine to be different. I also taught them about different cultures and languages. The children enjoyed seeing themselves reflected in the stories.
The children love to see themselves and their families reflected in the books. They would respond by saying, " Just like me."
In our class the children are learning how to handle books and make up stories based on what they see. They are encouraged to share with each other as well as sharing their feelings.
Thank you donors choose for helping us expand our learning experiences and being aware of other cultures and feelings.”

Funded Sep 14, 2021My class was able to move around comfortably and enjoy learning during the beginning of the school year, because of the fans you provided. Your generosity made possible for me to focus on teaching and keeping my class engaged during the end of Summer. It will also come in handy when Spring and Summer return.
The students like have the fans in room. Whenever they needed some relief from the heat they would drink some water and stand close to the fans for a refreshing cool breeze.
Once again we thank you for supporting public schools and my classroom.”

Scholastic Classroom Magazines!
Funded Dec 8, 2017My students and I are using the wonderfully funded Scholastic Magazines twice a week. We are learning about science, history, as well as current events. The most memorable reading was the on about Ruby Bridges. They were in awe to learn that a little girl was able to make a huge impact in their lives. It lead us to research more about Ruby Bridges and her life today.
My students were very excited when the magazines finally arrived. It was actually the first time they used a magazine article.
We will continue to use the magazines as learning resources. They are full with history, science articles as well as skits. The students have expanded their learning experience through the magazines, their comprehension skills, and vocabulary. Thank you for making this possible.”

We are using the new furniture to do both independent work as well as group activities. They are now able to work comfortably and have pride doing so as they work on their brand new desks.
When the desks arrived in their individual boxes they were excited and happy. They were in awe from one day to the next to see the transformation from old, worn out desks to new and shiny ones. The children explored the desks very eagerly. They had big smiles from ear to ear.”
