  • Hands-on Renewable Energy Project

    Funded May 9, 2023

Wow, it was such a treat to watch my students unpack goodies and treasures for the classroom. The Cricut Joy and vital art supplies really helped bring our PBL to life. Students immersed into fourth graders who, communicated the importance of choosing renewable resources over nonrenewable resources whenever possible and making energy-efficient choices in their daily lives to our community?

Some projects included: creating windmills, informative posters, solar-powered cars, and energy rollercoasters.

Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. These resources provided for many opportunities for hands on activities and engagement.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Medina

  • Little Planters!

    Funded May 12, 2022

I can not express the gratitude I felt to have this project funded. My little planters were over the moon to unpack every plant and get their hands on their own planting pot. The anticipation to get started was evident. Students worked together to paint and add their own creativity to their own pot. They continued to work together when we got to the planting stage. Some students even decided to name their plant. It was very rewarding to see the class engage in this planting project made possible by your generous donations.”

  • Getting Energized!

    Funded Apr 20, 2022

The classroom was buzzing with excitement when the office notified us that our packages were waiting in the office. Many cheers were heard as I opened and revealed each item. It was all hands on deck to put together the hula hoops and inflate the footballs. We were ready to go have fun!

Every time we go out to PE, my class is so excited to have a variety of equipment to use. They have the opportunity to play in a group or individually. It is very rewarding to see everyone's smiling face when they are having fun.

Thank you so much for your donations! My classes will enjoy the PE equipment for many years to come!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Medina

  • Road to Success

    Funded Jan 31, 2012

With sincerest gratitude, thank you for your wonderful donations. Bringing technology into the classroom is top priority for me. With our laptop, my students were able to have access to technology all year long. Students were able to create power points, research, and and play educational games. Having a laptop in our classroom fostered the students curiosity and ability to have answers at their fingertips. We were very appreciative of our amazing gift this year. Thank you for making teaching just a little bit easier.”

  • Teamwork=No Bullying

    Funded Jan 3, 2012

My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Having PE equipment at the reach of our fingertips made learning fun and engaging. The equipment donated to our classroom was truly a blessing. This year we were able to incorporate health, well-being, and exercise lessons on a daily basis. Students were motivated to answer questions when they were able to throw and catch a bouncy ball at the same time. During PE students were able to engage in team-building games which provided them with social skills while having a blast.

Again, your gift is beyond words and we truly appreciated every bit of it. Thanks for making my students eager to exercise and play!”

  • Let's Get the Party Started

    Funded Jan 31, 2012

Let me start by saying thank you so much. Your donations have made a world of difference in our classroom. We begin our morning routines with music to wake up our brains. We continue to use music throughout the day for transitions, math, science, social studies, and for brain breaks. It has been great to have music at the tips of our fingers. We are able to have music in our classroom and travel with it to the playground. Being able to infuse music, rhythm, and fun makes our learning experience absolutely wonderful. Again, thank you for giving our classroom an uplift this year.”

  • Little Einsteins

    Funded Dec 22, 2011

We greatly appreciate your donation to our class and students. Due to many budget cuts, our students are lacking resources more today than ever. Being able to have a printer, paper, and markers to complete projects is beyond words. Thanks to your kindness and generosity. Now technology is just at the tip of our fingers. We use our printer daily to make copies, scan student work, and print research papers. Having a printer in our classroom truly makes teaching and learning simpler.

Thank-you for adding so many grateful smiles to our classroom!”

  • Rock Star Scientists

    Funded Dec 15, 2011

My students and I write this thank you note with such gratitude and appreciation. The science books, hands-on materials, and science center have given our classroom the much needed science equipment. We are currently learning about igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. We use our fossils and rock samples to further investigate and learn about the rock cycle. Science can be challenging but thanks to your donation we are able to use hands-on resources to make science come alive.

Again, thank you so much for your kindness and helping my little rock star scientists!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Medina
