Thank you so much for donating money to help fund my project for headphones. A lot of students are unable to bring headphones from home to keep in the classroom. It is necessary that I have extra headphones in the classroom for students to use.

The students need headphones to complete different activities on the laptops. Students play games to reinforce the new vocabulary words we are learning, or practice basic multiplication facts. Struggling readers use it to have the text read to them, or to watch videos to build their prior knowledge in order to complete a task. They also use it gather research for projects. In addition, our reading program gives teachers the ability to create assignments. Students can work on these assignments individually, while I meet with small groups of students to provide additional assistance in the areas they are struggling in.

The students love the new headphones. They are comfortable and it fits their heads appropriately. (They do not like the ear buds which I had for them to use in the classroom previously.) My students are very grateful for your generosity and will get a lot of use out of these headphones throughout the school year.”
