So many times we ask our students to sit still, and often that is contrary to their learning style. Our library recently acquired collaboration tables which will allow students to collaborate and present connecting their devices to a monitor mounted to a table. Our library chairs are large and bulky, often an uncomfortable distraction for students who require movement. Wobble chairs will benefit students who learn best while moving, they are a simple and effective way to wiggle while you work! Wobble chairs offer children an alternative to the bulky, unmoving library chair, and flexibility, a necessary component of a 21st century library. Students will benefit from the chairs at the collaboration table, reading nook, or even grouped together for a mini lesson.
